The Best Surface Pro 3 Case

I love my Surface Pro 3 – I take it everywhere with me, just like I did with my Surface Pro 2. Except my Surface Pro 2 met an early end when it was in my backpack and my backpack fell to the ground – less than 3 feet – and shattered. Urban Armor Gear Surface Pro3 Case received. Kia K900 Luxury Sedan Review

Kia K900 Featured

A few weeks ago we packed up the kids along with my sister’s family, Dave’s mom, and my parents, and we hopped on a plane and headed down to Florida for a week. It was an amazing vacation and we all have memories we’ll cherish for years to come. Even though we flew down to Florida, we spent a lot of time on the road. We went to amusement parks in Orlando as well as the beach up in Clearwater, it was a great fun and certainly made us road warriors. Getting to Clearwater Beach on a beautiful ... continue reading...

Vionic Shoes: Tide II Sandals Review

Vionic Sandals Featured

Several years ago I experienced severe hip pain that would shoot down my leg after walking a short distance. I am not one to sit on the sidelines when it comes to playing with my grandchildren, but I found that I often had to sit down in order to relieve the pain. That meant playing kickball from a chair! It was so frustrating. That's why I was excited to receive for review a pair of Vionic shoes and I have been a big fan ever since. Once I put the shoes on, I discovered I could walk farther ... continue reading...

Stack The States: Geography App For Kids

Stack The States Featured

It's time for another App of the Week and this week I'm bringing you one of Kora & Logan's favorites - Stack The States. I knew the kids liked this app and had heard that it was a good one, but the other day when I was sitting next to Logan and he was playing it something happened that made me want to feature it as an App of the Week. While I was watching him play it one of the mini-challenges is to match the shape of the state with it's name. The states are not laid out on the map. ... continue reading...

Lemon Blueberry Bread Recipe

Lemon Blueberry Bread

Every year around this time I get excited for spring. The sun is shining brightly, the birds are chirping, and warm weather is around the corner. Over the weekend I decided to get into the spirit of spring by making a Lemon Blueberry Bread. I had never made this recipe before and I have to say it may be one of the best recipes I've ever made. It came out beautifully and was so delicious it was gone in a day. I've made breads in the past but none have been so flavorful and sweet. There ... continue reading...

Montage Photo Book Review

Montage Photobook Review

When our girls were growing up, every year for Christmas I would put together a scrapbook of their past year. At that time there was none of the fun scrapbook materials there are today. It was simply gather the papers up and glue them on pages. Some years I would run all over just to find some type of scrapbook.     Montage Photobook received. Photobooks have made saving memories even easier. Christmas rolls around and often if we have taken a family trip together or a ... continue reading...

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
