Sensu Brush For Touchscreen Devices

I’ve written before about how much Kora loves to paint, draw, and color. She is an artist at heart and can sit for hours immersed in an art project.

Sensu Brush Stylus

Sensu Brush received.

Often it seems that siblings like different things but Logan likes painting and drawing too. When I found out about the FreshPaint app on Windows 8 I knew both kids would like it. They enjoy painting with their fingers on the screen of our computer and then being able to print out their creations.

That’s why I am excited about Sensu Brush, a portable artist brush & stylus for touchscreens. It’s a great brush that is lightweight and is a stylus on one end.

But it’s more than that. Pop off the other end and you have an actual paintbrush that you can use on a variety of touchscreen devices.

Sensu BrushIt works along with drawing and painting apps including:

  • FreshPaint
  • ArtRage
  • Sketch Time
  • Sketchbook Pro
  • Paper by Studio 53
  • Procreate
  • Auryn Ink
  • …and more

Here’s a video of Kora & Logan showing how it works on their favorite kid friendly app Fresh Paint:

Kora & Logan have fun painting with this brush on our touchscreen computer. I love how creative they are with it and how it sparks their imaginations.

Sensu Brush ReviewIt also really seems to be encouraging them to pay close attention to detail.

Sensu Brush ReviewsThey find the brush very easy to use and are all smiles whenever they get to paint with it.

Sensu Brush PaintingWhile Sensu Brush can be fun for kids it’s wonderful for adults to who love to paint. There’s a number of fantastic videos on the Sensu Brush website showing how  the brush can be used with some of the apps above. It’s really amazing seeing all the ways it can be used and how beautifully the paintings turn out.

Another feature of the the Sensu Brush I like is that it’s a nice size. In fact, once you take the end off to reveal the paintbrush you can leave the cap off which is perfect for smaller hands or you can put it on the other end to not only make sure you don’t lose it but also to make it longer and a regular paint brush size. We’ve found this makes it comfortable to use for both children and adults.

We recommend the Sensu Brush to anyone who enjoys painting and drawing apps. It’s a nice stylus and brush that makes painting on touchscreen devices even more fun and we love how much it enhances imagination and creativity too.

Wow this is very cool. My daughter would totally love this. She loves to paint and draw also. We have looked at different software programs for her to be able to draw and paint. We have a touchscreen that she could use this on. Thanks for the review.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
