Millstone Coffee Review

Millstone Coffee Biscotti Featured

This post is sponsored by J.M. Smucker and coffee was received. With a blog name like 2 Wired 2 Tired you can correctly guess that I drink a lot of coffee. I honestly didn't start drinking coffee until a few years ago and I can't believe what I was missing all those years! Nowadays, I really appreciate a good cup of coffee (or two or three!) and that's why I'm excited about Millstone Coffee varieties as well as delicious food to pair it with. Millstone's tagline is "A Cup Above The Rest" ... continue reading...

Grand Traverse Resort & Spa Review

A few years ago, a newspaper here in Michigan posed the question,"when do you feel like you are up north?" To us Michiganians or Michiganders (which is another post entirely) down here in the southern part of the lower peninsula this had many varied answers. For me, once I am off I75 and headed towards Traverse City then I feel like I am truly "up north." Accommodations, meals, and spa services provided. That's why I was excited to stay at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. This is a resort ... continue reading...

Where To Stay In Gulf County Florida

Casa Verde Porch Featured

We love to travel and that's why we were very excited to be given the chance to be part of a press trip to Gulf County Florida. While on the trip we excited to be given accommodations and a goodie bag at Casa Verde of Teresa's Beach Homes. We adored this vacation rental. It was beautifully built and decorated, is very spacious, and has a lot of lovely little touches. On top of that it was just a short walk away to the beach. Casa Verde is a new custom built 3 bedroom home in the WindMark ... continue reading...

We Are Excited To Be Ranked as a Top 10 Tech Influencer at IFA

We have a lot of fun working on our blog, 2 Wired 2 Tired. It has become a huge part of our everyday life, growing from a place to share stories and photos with just our family, to working towards our goal of being a strong voice and destination to read all about everything new and interesting in technology and travel. While our eventual goal of taking over the world is still pretty far away . . . we have made some progress and have enjoyed some special recognition along the ... continue reading...

Fall is here and that means it's time for all things pumpkin. I always look forward to this time of year because I love pumpkin flavored everything. This post is sponsored by the J.M. 5 Reasons To Visit Gulf County Florida: A Little Slice Of Paradise

Gulf County 5 Featured

We've been doing quite a bit of traveling lately and loving every minute of it. Recently Dave and I went on a press trip where flight, accommodations, meals, and activities were provided to Gulf County Florida and we had such an amazing time we put it on the top of our list as favorite vacation destinations. When I was researching the trip, I learned that Gulf County is a very different place - the entire county only has 2 stoplights! They also have an average population density of 24 ... continue reading...

What’s A Rougarou? The New Cedar Point Ride!

We love Cedar Point, it’s so great to have them in NE Ohio, It is always exciting when they announce a new Cedar Point ride. They just announced a new exciting ride for 2015, the Rougarou. Over in the swampy area by the Iron Dragon and where the Mantis used to reside, Cedar Point is swapping out its old stand up coaster with a new floorless coaster.     Rougarou is a French version of a werewolf, it is a folklore legend and promises to thrill riders in 2015. Other ... continue reading...

Intel – What’s Next?

IFA Sign Featured

Last week I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to work with Intel and be sent to cover IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany. Flights, accommodations, and meals were provided. IFA is one of the world’s largest consumer electronics shows and wow was my head spinning the entire trip – all I kept thinking was “new toys are everywhere!” A lot of the buzz was about new products that just came out or that will come out in the very near future. I was most impressed with what Intel has on coming ... continue reading...

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
