Millstone Coffee Review

With a blog name like 2 Wired 2 Tired you can correctly guess that I drink a lot of coffee. I honestly didn’t start drinking coffee until a few years ago and I can’t believe what I was missing all those years! Nowadays, I really appreciate a good cup of coffee (or two or three!) and that’s why I’m excited about Millstone Coffee varieties as well as delicious food to pair it with.

Millstone’s tagline is “A Cup Above The Rest” and I can see why. They slow roast the finest Arabica beans for a flavorful and aromatic taste.

I was thrilled to learn that this summer Millstone launched two new varieties:

  • House Blend
  • Mayan Black Onyx

The House Blend smells delicious while brewing. It’s a wonderful smell to wake up to and it has me looking forward to that first cup in the morning. It has a nice smooth finish and offers a great comforting feeling. It will be perfect on a cold, winter day. We have many of those ahead here in Cleveland and I look forward to warming up with a cup of Millstone House Blend.

The Mayan Black Onyx is the newest flavor variety and it’s bold and exotic. If you like strong, dark coffees this is the one for you. It’s made with the finest Arabica beans in the world and is a very rich coffee. A great way to start the day.

While I enjoy starting the day with a cup of coffee, I’m even happier when I can pair that cup of coffee with a delicious, buttery, flaky croissant.

While I’m not one to make croissants at home I enjoy picking one up from our favorite local bakery or around the corner at the grocery store.

Another coffee pairing that I enjoy is Biscotti. Before becoming a coffee drinker I had always had Biscotti dry. As you may know that’s not the best way to enjoy Biscotti. It’s quite dry and will make you thirsty. But that’s the point! I was recently talking to my mom and she mentioned that she liked dipping her Biscotti in her coffee. Brilliant! I thought and was off to try it.

Chocolate biscotti and a hot cup of coffee in the morning is a great way to start the morning or as a wonderful snack mid-day.

As moms, we know how important these little moments are and this is the perfect way to enjoy them.

Both the croissant and the Biscotti are delicious with the Millstone House Blend.

I been enjoying the new varieties of Millstone coffee and have been happy to find them delicious when perfectly paired or on their own.

I too enjoy Biscotti with my coffee and really enjoy coffee dates with my Mom.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
