We have a lot of fun working on our blog, 2 Wired 2 Tired. It has become a huge part of our everyday life, growing from a place to share stories and photos with just our family, to working towards our goal of being a strong voice and destination to read all about everything new and interesting in technology and travel. While our eventual goal of taking over the world is still pretty far away . . . we have made some progress and have enjoyed some special recognition along the way!
Recently, I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Berlin, Germany to cover Intel at IFA – one of the largest international consumer electronics conventions. Since we were covering Intel, we were everywhere, because Intel is in everything. Throughout my time at the convention I shared tons of cool info on social media and had a blast doing so. During all of my social media “work” I was excited to discover that we have been ranked as one of the top tech influencers for IFA 2014. Onalytica.com put together a list of the Top 100 Most Influential Brands at IFA 2014 and I am proud to say that not only did we land on it, we made it into the top 10!
We don’t do too much of tooting our own horn, but every now and then it’s fun and deserved, so “toot toot!” We ultimately ended up being ranked #7 as an influential brand, finishing ahead of some huge organizations such as Philips, Asus, Acer, Microsoft and more.
To say we are thrilled with this recognition would be an understatement, so we would like to take a minute to thank our readers and our followers on all of the social channels for your support and help, we will continue to be a major influencer in the social media world. With IFA behind us, stay tuned as we continue to bring you the best in family, tech and travel (and possibly take over the world while we are at it).
