Nintendo 3DS Paper Jam

Our household is absolutely a pro-Mario house. What does that mean? We love playing any and everything Mario Brothers related. A couple of years back, we spent the winter playing Super Mario Brothers for the Wii as a family. We would play a couple of evenings every week or so, and it was a blast teaming up as a family to defeat Bowser.

Fast forward a couple of years, we are still keeping up with Mario and the gang, and loving our time as a Nintendo family. The latest adventures for some of our family include playing Mario & Luigi – Paper Jam.

This consists of the gang hangin’ out at Princess Peach’s palace and Luigi – in a clumsy way that only Mario’s brother can pull off – knocks over a book which contains Paper Mario’s world. So out pops Paper Mario and a whole new group of paper villains. In this game Mario & Luigi are up to their usual hijinks and get stuck beat up by a pack of paper Goombas. Next thing you know, Paper Mario comes in to save the day, and the 3 set off on their adventure!

The kid’s favorite part of the game is that you get to play as 3 characters – at once -in this game as you fight both real enemies as well as their paper counterparts. The coolest thing is that paper Bowser teams up with the real Bowser to form a tough pair!

You will have a blast playing as Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario as you make your trio battle, fly and smash your way through this Mario universe. Kora & Logan laughed hysterically at the end scenes. Normally you fight a boss at the end of each level, and this is also true in Paper Jam, but this time you battle as a Papercraft character and battle another Papercraft bad guy – have fun!Paper Jam Nintendo 3DS

We also received some of the Papercraft characters and had a blast building them and then seeing them on the screen.

Paper Mario is a concept Nintendo has rolled out multiple times in the past, this version has a couple of changes. One of the changes is a new award system, now Battle Cards are used and you collect your cards and choose advantageous times to play them in order to help your cause, or weaken the enemy.Paper Jam

Paper Jam is a fun twist on the Paper Mario concept which has been around for what seems like forever, I love that you control all 3 characters at once and the Papercraft battles are awesome.

If you are a Mario fan like us, you will certainly enjoy Mario & Luigi – Paper Jam, it is fun and a little different. Paper Jam is available at Amazon and many other Nintendo loving retailers.

I haven’t ever owned a Paper Mario game. This one may be a good introductory game!

My kids love Mario and I know this would be amazing for them as well! Anything that can fly and smash into things they love! Having more cards to collect is not that bad I guess lol

My 2 sons loved to play Super Mario Brothers in the early 1990’s! This looks like it would be fun for my Grand kids.

I grew up playing Super Mario Bros. which was many, many years ago. I remember doing the same thing with my kids, playing on the Wii together and winning the game. We also did it for Mario Kart. The series of games has been entertaining, fun and challenging at times. I also like that the game is rated for the whole family!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
