Gourmet Dinners at Home With Good Table®

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of General Mills®. The opinions and text are all mine.

Now that school is back in session, it seems like we are always facing the same question “what’s for dinner?” it seems that same question pops up every night?!?!? We really enjoy going out for dinner, but that can get pricey really quick. It’s always fun to cook an inspired meal with a little bit of restaurant flair.Good Table Served

General Mills® has just the solution – their new line called The Good Table® is a great way to add some flavor to your proteins at dinner time. We picked up a couple of different flavors of The Good Table ® at our local Walmart, and decided we would try the Parmesan & Herb first.  The Good Table ® mixes are located next to the breadcrumbs and it is a really unique setup. The package contains a sauce that you use to rub over and coat your chicken (or other protein) and then you dip your chicken into a crust mix which is similar to breadcrumbs, but packed with spices and flavor.

Since Walmart has everything you need, we picked up our chicken breasts, some veggies and ingredients for a salad as well.

We made sure to pick one of the few days of the week when both kids were home at the same time. Kora and Logan helped out, actually they did just about all of it. Prepping the food is very easy, we rubbed the sauce packet over the chicken and then dipped it in the seasoning mix, place the chicken on the baking sheet and 25 minutes later we are good to go with the main course.Good Table Ready To CookGood Table Out Of The Oven

Since the prep is very simple, there is time to get creative with your side dishes, make a nice salad or anything else you may want.Good Table Flavors

Dinner time couldn’t come soon enough. The Parmesan & Herb Chicken received rave reviews. I can’t decide what I liked best about it, the taste was great, very flavorful and the sauce kept it nice and moist (the aroma from the oven was great too) or did I like the ease and the speed of putting it together better?  I can’t decide, so I guess I will have to try the Southwest Tortilla flavor next!

    Could be tasty

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
