Before I met Dave I had never heard of halupki or stuffed cabbage rolls. To be honest, the first time I tried them I was a bit nervous but after my first couple of bites I was hooked and when served with mashed potatoes I was over the moon! To make halupki or stuffed cabbage rolls you have to cut out the core then carefully take the leaves off of a head of cabbage individually without breaking them.   Quite a while ago Dave and I took Kora & Logan to the movies. Prior to the film we were seeing we got the chance to see a short titled Almost Home. AdoramaPix Photo Book Review

This fall Randy and I decided to gather up our travel gear and take a three week road trip through Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. We are drawn towards nature. Our first stop was Lake Odessa in Iowa, where we saw our first Golden Eagle.
