Quite a while ago Dave and I took Kora & Logan to the movies. Prior to the film we were seeing we got the chance to see a short titled Almost Home. In it The Boov were looking for a new planet to inhabit and it had us laughing like crazy. Since then the kids have been asking, “When is the movie with those cute purple guys coming out?” That’s why I’m excited to work with DreamWorks on this sponsored post and to learn more about the movie. Now I can say the movie is called, “HOME” and it’s coming to theaters March 27th.
In fact I showed Kora & Logan the trailer tonight and they were so excited! Here’s a look:
Doesn’t that look so funny and cute? I love that it has a great message for kids as well that mistakes make you human.
Here’s a quick summary of the movie:
Oh is a Boov which are purple multi-legged aliens from another planet.
Oh is a lovable misfit and after a series of mistakes finds himself on the run.
He lands on Earth and forms a friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own.
They have a series of comic adventures and Oh learns that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human.
Together the two of them discover the true meaning of the word HOME with a lot of laughs along the way.
The movie comes out on March 27th, the kids are already counting down the days!
