2017 Toyota Tacoma – A Family Truck

Well, after driving the Toyota Tacoma, I believe a pickup truck can make a perfect family car. All Toyota Tacomas have an extended cab and room for extra passengers. All models other than the base (SR) have a larger cab, which is plenty roomy for the kids. Even adults will fit fine in the back, it is surprisingly roomy.
Now when I first looked at the Tacoma, I fell in love. It is a great looking car, it just looks rugged and tough. The Tacoma has some similarities to the Tundra, which we drove (and loved) last year; it actually looks like the Tundra’s little brother!
What I loved about the Toyota Tacoma
The Bed
I love the size and strong composite bed of the Tacoma. The bed is rugged and has a couple of extra secrets too. First off there are some hidden storage spots in the bed. You can still stay organized and the storage compartments will help.
The best secret is the full 120v power outlet in the bed. This comes in handy for both those who work hard and play hard.
Also, there is a tri fold tonneau cover which when teamed up with the locking tailgate will give you the ability to lock up things which are important to you.
Tech’d Up
The Toyota Tacoma comes with a standard back up camera with a 7” display, which is clear as can be and as much fun backing out of the driveway as it is backing up before your big off-roading run.
SAMSUNG CSC
Qi compatable charging – this is awesome. I love how Toyota has implemented this option into most of their lineup. If you have a phone that can charge wirelessly, all you have to do is place your phone on the mat and you are all set.
GoPro Camera mount – This is awesome for any off-road enthusiast. There is a mount for your GoPro on the front windshield near the rear view mirror. You can set up your camera to record all the action.
Tough, bold . . . refined
The reason I like the Tacoma so much is that it combines the best of multiple worlds. The Tacoma’s appearance is tough and rugged, while the interior is refined. Granted this is not a luxury vehicle’s interior, but it is very nicely put together.
The Toyota Tacoma fits in nicely as an off-road monster, the car pool lane, and in the child pickup line at school. This makes the Tacoma many things, including a perfect family car!

I really love this truck and would be so thrilled to have one of these Toyota Tacoma trucks. They are well made and really last a long time. I have a neighbor that has one of these trucks and he has never had a problem with it!
