We’ve been using the Samsung Flex Duo Slide-In Range With Dual Door & Wifi Connectivity and it’s been so life changing that we’ve been telling all of our family and friends about it. Now I’m excited to share our favorite features with you. This range is remarkable because it can do so much and it can save you a lot of time as well. We are using the electric range but there is a gas version too.

Stylish & Sleek

This range is beautiful. It’s a slide in range which means it slides right into place to fit seamlessly with your countertops. It also means that there is no back panel. The dials and touchscreen are on the front. This looks very classy and it’s a great feature because you don’t have to reach across the hot stove to turn the dials or use the touchscreen, they are all waist high and simple to operate.

I admit it did take a minute to get used to having no back panel on the range, but when you put in a beautiful backsplash or countertop it allows you to fully appreciate it.

Dual Door

With this Samsung Flex Dual Door you can easily more than one dish at different temperatures. For smaller every day dishes, you don’t have to heat the entire oven. Simply set it to only use the top section. This is saves you time because you are heating a smaller section and it preheats very quickly To use the top oven only, with the partition in, simply push the lever in the oven handle and pull on the door and just the top will open.

If you want to use the entire oven, you simply pull on the handle and open the door as you would any other over. Then you pull out the partition and the oven will know sense you want to use the entire thing and you set the temperature on the touchscreen pad.

Warming Drawer

Along with the Dual Doors there is also a warming drawer. The warming drawer keeps hot, cooked foods warm.

It’s perfect for keeping the following foods warm once they are baked or cooked:

• Turn The Oven Off – forget to turn off the oven and you’ve left the house? while there are many safety features in place where it will turn itself off, you can put your mind at ease and open the app and turn the oven off yourself
• Monitor Your Cooktop – allows you to see on the cooktop, which burners are on or off
• Control The Oven Temperature & Cook Time – you can control the oven temperature and cook time from the app as well

Easy To Use Touchpad Display

The touchpad display is very simple to use and intuitive. You tap it to turn it on and all of your options are lit up in front of you. With just a few taps you can preheat the oven, set it to bake/roast, broil, or self-cleaning mode, set the timer, set whether you want to use the upper or lower section, turn the warming drawer on or off, and more. It’s all found with just a few taps, with no need to flip through the instruction book continually, it’s all very logical and easy to use.

The display also has a sleep mode so you can simply glance at it and see the time of day. It’s nice, clear, and easy to read. There is also a control lockout mode which is a child safety mode. It lets you lock the buttons so they can not be activated accidentally.

Flexible Cooktop

The flexible cooktop is brilliant and makes wonderful use of the space available.

The right front burner offers a 6 inch, 9 inch, or 12 inch cooking space. To set the size simply twist the dial until the size you want and the level of heat is in place. There is also a warming center in the back which keeps cooked food warm. So helpful!!

There is also a bridge option that allows you to connect the front and back burners on the left side if you are using a griddle pan or something similar. Now you’ll have more space for flipping pancakes or making everyone grilled cheese sandwiches at once.

 

Convection Baking & Roasting.

Convection baking uses a fan to circulate the heat evenly and continuously which allows you to cook food faster. It also helps the food cook more evenly. This range offers the ability to use the regular Baking setting or select Convection Baking.

You can also select convection roasting which is good for cooking large tender cuts of meat, uncovered. The fan circulates the air evenly around the food and meat and poultry are browned on all sides as if they were cooked in a rotisserie. Using convection roasting, the heated air seals in the juices for moist and tender results while giving you a rich golden brown exterior at the same time.

Gliding Oven Rack

How did I cook and bake before this gliding oven rack?

This rack is fully extendable and makes food prep easier especially when you are dealing with heavier dishes or if you have to flip or turn something you are making. It has 2 glide tracks that allow you to extend the rack to easily access your food without touch the sides of the oven walls. Genius!

Partition Storage

When you are using the entire oven, you take out the partition. Your first instinct may be to put it somewhere on your countertop until you are done baking or cooking. Instead, if you open the warming drawer, there is a space for you to slide in the partition for storage.

I’m happy to say they have truly thought of everything when designing this range.

Temp Probe

There is a temp probe that plugs directly into the oven so you can check the temperature of your meat to check the internal temperature and make sure the meat is properly cooked.

It can be used with the Bake, Convection Bake, or Convection Roast settings. The temperature is shown on the display in an easy to read format.

Steam Cleaning

While there is a self-cleaning feature, there is also a steam cleaning function for light cleaning that saves time and energy. You remove all accessories from the oven and pour approximately 10 oz of water onto the bottom of the empty oven and then close the door, press Steam Clean, and Start.

When it’s done the display will blink and a beep will sound, turn the oven off and you can wipe out the interior. There will be water left that you need to sponge up but this makes for much easier way to keep your oven clean on a regular basis.
