Last Day Of Summer RealTimes Adventure

Summer is finally winding down. The kids have been back in school for a week now and we’ve even had a few chilly days – thankfully it’s going to warm up a bit again this week! The crew from the RealTimes app sent us a gift card and code and invited us to have a Last Day Of Summer RealTimes Adventure. How fun is that?

Have you heard of the RealTimes App? It’s fun app that automatically and instantly creates video montages from the photos & videos on your smartphone.

You go about your day, take pictures and videos, and then when you open the app you will see Stories are created for you. You can even scroll back quite a few days and relive some of your past travels, events, or other memories all in a beautiful video montage. You can also customize each montage and create your own Stories as well.

Since one of the goals of this app is to bring your memories to life, we thought what better place to make family memories than Cedar Point? We packed up the kids and the car and headed to Sandusky, Ohio for our Last Day Of Summer RealTimes Adventure at America’s Favorite Roller Coast.

RealTimes App StoryWe had an amazing day together and were thrilled that the weather was so gorgeous. It gave us the opportunity to take some fantastic photos of colorful crazy rides against a bright blue sky. When I got home I was excited to see to see the Stories the RealTimes App put together for our trip. One in particular stood out and after viewing it I rearranged the photos with a few taps and here it is:

How wonderful is that? What a simple and fun way to remember our trip!

I liked this Story but I also had a lot more photos from our trip and past trips to Cedar Point and wanted to try to make a Story of my own. So I got started, I was amazed at how easy it was. I simply pressed down on a photo or video until a blue check appeared.

RealTimes App PhotosIf I wanted to re-order anything I simply tapped and dragged the photo thumbnail around the screen and put it in place.

I was also pleased that I could edit that photos right in the app.

It’s simple to share the Stories too. Just tap on the Share button after the Story ends and you can click “Share it,” “Save it,” or “Edit scenes.”

RealTimes App SharingWhen you share your story the recipient doesn’t need the app to view it. It’s that easy!

I can’t wait to see what other stories RealTimes will automatically create for me in the coming school year and I look forward to making many more Stories as well.

Also if you are a blogger you can embed your Stories right into your blog post like I did above. You simply turn on Auto Backup or manually upload them to the RealTimes cloud and then go to the site and grab the embed code. Easy peasy!

I was interested to read that in a recent Harris Poll survey 62% of moms said the worst thing about losing their smartphone would be losing all of their family photos. I worry about this too.

Good news! With this app you get storage options as well! RealTimes comes with 2 GB of cloud storage for free to all users, and an additional 5 GB of cloud storage is given if users enable the Auto Upload feature.
