New Year’s Quotes

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Happy New Year’s Eve! I like New Year’s because it always feels like such a fresh start. I love all the motivational quotes that are everywhere this time of year. In the stores, online, and on tv. wouldn’t it be great if this type of inspiration lasted throughout the year?

Since it becomes harder to find as the year goes on, I decided to put together a collection of some of my favorite New Year’s quotes to share with you and also so I can come back an look it over as the year goes on, whenever I need a little extra inspiration.

What about you? What do you like about New Year’s?

About Tesa Nicolanti

I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired, a blog named after our two kids born a year apart, who my husband and I always said were too wired, leaving us too tired. :) Since 2009, I’ve shared tips on family, travel, and tech, with coffee always in hand. Now, as the kids head to college, 2 Wired 2 Tired continues as a place for family travel ideas, helpful gadgets, and insights on keeping family life fun and easy.

I love how each new day, each new month and each new year feels like a fresh start, another chance to get whatever right or to evolve in at least some little way.

I also LOVE quotes a few of my favorites are:

If I cant do great things in this life I hope to do many small things with great love.
We are all like angels with only one wing and can only fly while embracing one another.
It is better to light a candle OR TO BE ONE than to curse the darkness.

I like the potential. I also like the quote ‘use kind words’. It’s one of the most powerful.

Lovely thoughts for a new year!
What I like about the new year is that even though it’s arbitrary – and you could really start afresh ANY day, it gives everyone kind of a purpose and you sense that EVERYONE is with you in starting over, starting new and improving. I think it’s helpful to have that kind of marker from year to year! I know I ALWAYS use the day as a reminder to reflect and set goals. Even if I don’t keep them (and last year I really didn’t!) at least I tried! :)

I love the last quote about being braver and stronger.
I had some disappointments in 2012, but I also had some amazing things happen that blew my mind.
So my view on 2013 is to start seeing myself as others see me!
I get so many compliments about my son and my blog that really help me push on and fight through the bad stuff.

I actually don’t like New Year’s at all but that’s because of a car accident I was in years ago. I am always so happy when January 2nd rolls around again! But I do like these sayings. Happy New Year!

    […] New Year’s Quotes (2wired2tired.com) […]

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
