Need A Family Sedan? Check Out The Hyundai Sonata

Recently we had the chance to test drive the 2016 Hyundai Sonata for a week. A 4 door family sedan is generally not something we get excited about. Think of the cars in this group, the Camry, Malibu, Accord, Fusion & others. All of these cars are nice and some more sensible than others, but after 7 years of existence, the 2016 Hyundai Sonata is gaining and being mentioned in the same breath as those other cars.

We just had a chance to experience the new Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T, and this is a car I could realistically see in our driveway. There are lots of great things to see and experience with the new Sonata, here are some of my favorites.

Appearance

The Sonata is a sleek looking car,  I love the lines of this c ar, it looks like it was designed to provide you with great mileage while looking like a car that you would be proud to have in your driveway. I was actually a little shocked to see how big the Sonata is. From the outside, it looks much bigger than I remembered.

Interior

I mentioned how the Sonata appears bigger, well it really is huge inside. Most cars in this class have roomy interiors, but the Sonata feels huge on the inside. The front seat looks very modern and spacious. The backseat is very comfortable, even for taller folks.

Family Car?

All of the family sedans in this class are great people movers – sensible and practical. The Sonata provides everything the basic family of 4 would need. The trunk is very large for its class, the interior is very roomy, and price wise, the Sonata makes sense. It starts off in the same range as it’s competitors, but as you move up into the options, you get a little more bang for your buck compared to its domestic competitors.SAMSUNG CSC

Where I think the Sonata is a bit different is all of the options you can add to the car. It is a perfect family car, but you are also able to bump up your model and go with the 2.0T or the Sport and you get a great family car, as well as a car that is very fun to drive when you are alone. This is much more than a practical family car, if you want it to be one.SAMSUNG CSC

This is a car that we will consider buying next year when it is time for a new car. It worked great for our family and I am certain it can work for yours too. Make sure you get to a Hyundai dealer and check out the Sonata, along with others in their line, which all provide you with a high quality car at a lesser price than their competition.

    Looks like a nice car

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
