HitStory iPad App Review & iTunes Giveaway

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Kora and Logan have become pros on the iPad over that last couple of years. They love it, and often want to play it and play it and play it. It’s important to have the kids do other things too, but when we let them play on the iPad, we have a huge assortment of educational and fun apps that we prefer them to play.

HitStory Kids - Columbus Sails educational toddler app

This post is sponsored by HitStory and gift card provided for giveaway

Staying with the fun and educational iPad app theme, we are excited about the HitStory Kids – Columbus Sails app. HitStory Kids is the first app that we have come across that teaches a history lesson geared towards toddlers. The idea is a great one. The graphics, interactive animations, funny sounds and music in HitStory Kids – Columbus Sails will have your toddler laughing and learning at the same time.

This app focuses on Columbus boarding his boats, and sailing across the ocean to ‘discover’ America. Throughout the app your toddler will experience and view episodes of American history in an enjoyable and extremely interactive way.

HitStory Kids - Columbus Sails educational toddler app First Episode

HitStory Kids - Columbus Sails educational toddler app Second EpisodeIn each scene your toddler will have multiple objects or people to touch, tap or swipe to have them interact. Some characters jump out to surprise you, some sing, and some will even wave to you. Some characters are right in front of you, and some of them you have to work a little harder to discover, just like Columbus!

Throughout your toddler’s journey, they will be accompanied by a curious and excitable character, Peekaboo Peet who is a silly hedgehog and can be found in every screen doing something entertaining!

HitStory Kids - Columbus Sails educational toddler app Third Episode

HitStory Kids - Columbus Sails educational toddler app Peet's LogbookHitStory Kids – Columbus Sails will have your toddler busy and learning, the memories and pictures will stick with them as they go to school and actually learn about Columbus and his adventures. Like I said earlier, this will have your toddler laughing and learning the whole time. HitStory Kids will be coming out with future versions of events in History which I am certain will continue to make learning fun for your child.

The app is available at the iTunes Store for free, to view additional screens in this app you have 2 choices. You can either purchase the remaining scenes for a small cost, or spread the word to at least 5 of your friends and you will gain access to the remaining scenes for free, a great concept for spreading the word!

We enjoyed reviewing this app and are excited to say that HitStory Kids is also offering a giveaway of a $20 iTunes gift code. Enter below!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
