Summer is nearly over and school is here. Many kids have started back already while others will be doing so soon. Kora & Logan love school and can’t wait to head back.

Here’s why we like each of these products. Be sure to pin this post so you can come back to it later.

Magic Straws

Magic StrawsKora & Logan have been enjoying their milk with a little extra flavor recently. Magic Straws are an easy and fun way to enjoy your milk. The straws add lots of flavor without adding artificial flavors, colors, perservatives, or sugar. They are also gluten and lactose free. I like that no refrigeration is needed and you can pop in a Magic Straw any time. The kids love these straws because they are filled with flavor beads and when you sip the the milk up the straw it turns from plain milk into delicious flavored milk.

Magic Milk StrawsThere are many flavors to choose from including:

  • Chocolate
  • Cookies & Cream
  • Strawberry
  • Cinnamon Roll
  • Vanilla Milkshake
  • Strawberry/Banana
  • Wild Berry
  • Orange Cream
  • Banana Cream

There are also fun seasonal flavors as well including:

  • Fall: Candy Corn
  • Winter: Chocolate Candy Cane
  • Spring: Neopolitan, Banana Split
  • Summer: Cotton Candy, Root Beer Float

Magic Straws are fun treats to pack in lunch boxes or for an after school surprise.

LunchSkins

LunchskinsKora & Logan brought their lunch to school every day this week. While making their lunch I was aware of how many plastic baggies were being used and thought there has to be a better way to make their lunches more environmentally friendly. That’s why I was excited to learn about LunchSkins.

LunchSkins are food-safe, dishwasher friendly, reusable sandwich and snack bags that come in cute designs.

LunchSkins Reusable Sandwich Snack BagsAren’t they adorable?

When Kora and Logan saw them they immediately wanted me to pack their lunches using LunchSkins and I was thrilled they were excited about them too. I explained how they worked and they thought they were a fantastic idea and couldn’t wait to start using them.

LunchSkins Reusable Lunch BagsI was happy to read on the packaging that they are also made of a high-quality one-of-a-kind fabric used by professional bakers and that they are bpa, lead, and phthalate free.

There are also large 8 x 7 inch Big Bags which are great for subs, a slice of pizza, or as a small lunch tote. They have a line of Totes too that help replace brown bags. Sold as kits they include the tote and a variety of sandwich and snack bags.

LunchSkins was started when the creators heard the statistic that every day more than 20 million sandwich bags from school lunches go into landfills in the U.S. Not only do LunchSkins help the environment but by being reusable they help save money too and are one of our favorite back-to-school finds.

GUM Crayola Squeeze A Color Toothpaste

Gum Crayola Squeeze A Color ToothpasteWith all this talk about back-to-school lunches and snacks it’s important to remind kids to brush their teeth. I was excited to see how fun GUM Crayola Squeeze A Color Toothpaste makes brushing time. This line of toothpaste comes in fun flavors and colors that kids can even mix and match.

Kora and Logan have been using Melon Blast Red, Blueberry Burst, and Jazzy Apple for the past few weeks and have really enjoyed this toothpaste. They love the fun colors and flavors.

I like that these toothpastes have made telling the kids to brush their teeth far less dreadful than it used to be. They are usually off and running to brush their teeth nowadays. I also like that the tubes are child-size and easy for them to use and the unique thin nozzle dispenses a thin line of gel toothpaste that prevents huge dollops of toothpaste in the sink or down the side of the tube.

Gum Crayola ToothpasteGUM Crayola Squeeze A Color Toothpaste is safe for children ages 2+ and a fun way to keep teeth clean this back-to-school season.

I’m so excited for the toothpaste, hopefully this makes the kids want to brush their teeth more often. The lunchskins are adorable, they would fit great in a bag-lunch or lunchbox!!!

I really love the Lunch Skins! We spend a lot on plastic sandwich and snack bags for everyday use and these would help with expenses. I also like the designs. Definitely looking into getting these this year. Thanks for the info!
