8 Great Valentine’s Day Dessert Recipes

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I’ve started a collection of recipes that I can’t wait to try with the kids. Kora & Logan love helping out in the kitchen especially when making holiday themed treats. Not only do these 8 Valentine’s Day dessert recipes look delicious but the amount of hearts, pink, and red are sure to have the kids smiling!

Caramel Drizzled Brownie Hearts – Tablespoon.com

Homemade Marshmallow Conversation Hearts – A Farm Girl Dabbles

Red Velvet Fudge with Pecan Sandie Crust – Something Swanky

Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcakes with Homemade Chocolate Heart – Crunch Frugalista

Heart Cake – Butter Heart Sugar

Conversation Heart Cheesecakes  – Hungry Happenings

Brownie Kabobs – The Rebel Chick

Chocolate Filled Golden Cherry Cupcakes – Sunshine & Sippy Cups

Don’t those recipes look fantastic? They are so creative and will be perfect for Valentine’s Day. I’m looking forward to getting in the kitchen with the kids over the next couple days to start baking and I plan on sneaking a treat or two into their lunchboxes for a special surprise at school.

What about you? What is your favorite Valentine’s Day recipe?

All of them look really delicious. And I have to say they perfectly fit in with my plans for this year’s Valentine’s Day. As a Valentine’s gift for my girlfriend I’ve made a private booking for one of the courses organized by Zac’s cooking school here in Vancouver – cooking classes for couples and your desserts will most certainly be among the first recipes we’ll try together. :)

I love conversation hearts (the look, not the taste) so I always make sugar cookies that we decorate to look like them. They make nice valentines for the teachers in our lives. I’m going to try that cheesecake – it’s adorable. The conversation heart marshmallows are lovely too, but perhaps a bit labor intensive for my schedule at the moment!
