Dyson DC33 from Vacuum-Direct.com Review

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Dyson DC33 received.

My mom and sister-in-law both have Dyson vacuums. After hearing them talk about how great they are and reading reviews of the vacuums, I’ve always wanted one. So needless to say I was excited about the Dyson DC33 from Vacuum-Direct.com.

As soon as the vacuum arrived, I unpacked it and we put it to work. I also started working on this review right away and because I was so happy with the service from VacuumDirect.com and the Dyson DC33 it stated to become a bit long-winded. So I decided to break the review down and present my favorite features of the site and the vacuum.

My Favorite Features of the Dyson DC33

Easy to Assemble

Dyson DC33 Review

The Dyson DC33 came in a large box. At first, I thought I would have to wait for Tired Dad Dave to come home to help me put it together. But once I opened it up and looked it over, it actually didn’t look too daunting. In fact, I decided to give it a try and I had it together and up and running in about 3 easy steps.

Deep Cleaning Power

Dyson DC33One of the first things I did when the Dyson DC33 arrived, is put it’s Root Cyclone Technology to the ultimate test. It had been a couple of days since I vacuumed our carpet. I went over it with our old vacuum, then I pulled out the Dyson to see if it would pull up anything left behind. It definitely did! The photo above is what the Dyson sucked up from our carpet after I just vacuumed it with our old vacuum. Gross…and kind of cool!

Quick & Easy to Empty

This may be my absolute favorite feature of the Dyson DC33. The easy to remove drop bottom canister. Simply push the red button above the canister, pull it out, and as Kora is demonstrating (with the clean canister!) push the red button again and the bottom pops open to easily dispose of the accumulated dirt.

To showcase this even better I took a video of the Dyson in action.

Quick Draw Telescope Reach Wand and Attachments

Dyson DC33 ReviewThe Dyson DC33 has an extremely long telescoping wand that helps reach those hard to get spaces like carpeted stairs or the cobwebs that might gather in the corner of a little used room. With the push of a button the wand comes out and expands. The provided attachments help provide a number of ways to get the carpet clean. My favorite feature about the attachments is that they are tucked away nicely and out of the way. It really was made to be a space saving deep cleaning vacuum and it does it’s job well.

I am very happy to have received the Dyson vacuum from Vacuum-Direct.com and I recommend them to anyone looking to buy a Dyson vacuum.

great review and all true except for a downside – our Dyson and our golden do not go together – the long hair wraps round the beater bar and it takes 15 min to cut it all away – anyone know the smart way to do it ?

My Dyson is amazing, too! And I wrote the most long-winded review ever.

my dad swears by his dyson. I always thought it was another expensive new gadget of his but seeing all the dirt it picked up that your other vacuum left behind I’m tempted to try it

I love our Dyson! I let my 84 year old mom borrow it to clean her room last year and she got it caught in some string because she sews in her rooom. She broke it and it isn’t a broken rubber either. Now only the hose works. Even though she was going to pay to purchase a new one, my husband went out and bought a different one. One that advertises as a dog vacuum, think a Hoover. I hate is so much it is awful, hard to empty and the hose is so short. I am planning on taking the Dyson to get it fixed. Now if my mom wants to vacuum I do it for her. Although she lives with me I keep her independent by letting her do her own things, but to use the vacuum is now out. So be careful because they can still break and my son is another who I don’ trust as he likes to pickup big items with a vacuum. Enjoy it!

I wish my husband would let me get a Dyson, but he believes that all vacuums are the same.

There are 2 Dysons rolling around in our family and a total of 6 dogs, including 2 – I will bury you with hair – golden retrievers.

Normal vacuums lasted about a year. One of our Dysons is five and mine is 3 years old. Neither one shows signs of stopping. When I think about the money I didn’t spend buying a new vacuum every year, the Dyson looks pretty cheap.

I love Dyson vacuums, my sister in law has one too and I’ve borrowed it a few times to get a feel of how it works and if I would like it. They are so fast and easy to use and learn how to use!

    Thanks for sharing this review!!

WOW! That is amazing how much it picked up after you already vacuumed.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
