The Looneyspoons Collection Cookbook Review

I’m always looking for new recipes to try, especially easy ones since my cooking skills are limited.

Looneyspoons Collection

Cookbook received. This post contains affiliate links. I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

That’s why I was excited about The Looneyspoons Collection by Janet & Greta Podleski. When it arrived, I couldn’t wait to see what delicious and healthy recipes they had to offer. The Looneyspoons Collection has recipes for an entire meal.  Appetizers, side dishes, main meals and even desserts are all included, all with a healthy twist.  The recipes are nutritious and kid friendly.

The book has lots of full color pictures, which I always look for in a cookbook, and as a bonus each recipe has a silly cartoon to go with it.

The names of the recipes are unique and funny.  How about asking the kids tonight if they would like Do Re Mi Fa So La-sagna for dinner tonight?  Or maybe You’re Pudding Me On for dessert?  With names like these, your family is sure to get a laugh.

The Looneyspoons Collection also contains many useful recipe tips as well facts about ingredients and cooking.  My family first tried out Greek is the Word, a delicious pasta salad, which I ate way to much of!

LooneyspoonsI next tried the Where’s Waldorf?  A wonderful waldorf pasta salad that I liked so much I made it again.

I can’t wait to try out Pasta Point of No Return tonight!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
