Halloween is right around the corner and it’s been a big topic of conversation around here. The last few days Kora, Logan, & their cousins have been trying to decide what they want to dress up as. They’ve come up with lots of great ideas and during their discussions they spent a lot of time reliving memories of past Halloweens. Every year about this time I find myself reminiscing about the amazing haunted yard my parents would set up every year.

If they chose to, trick-or-treaters could walk through our elaborately decorated yard and our relatives would jump out at them dressed as witches, vampires, and ghosts. The older kids in the neighborhood and parents always had a great time and said they looked forward to coming to our house every Halloween. My parents made sure to put together a not so scary area for the little ones as well so everyone could enjoy themselves.

While Kora & Logan were talking about past Halloweens with their cousins, I was thinking about how creative my parents were with their haunted yard. They put a lot of thought and effort into the decorations, set up, pranks and planning and now we have fun memories to relive every year. I can only imagine what they would have come up with had they had access to today’s technology!

That’s why I am excited about the Best Buy Halloween Prank Idea page.

The page is full of fantastic and fun Halloween ideas that can be done easily with a just a bit of technology.

I love this Haunted House Mirror Mirror idea where you make your television look like a mirror. When your Halloween party guests look into it to check their costumes or make up they’ll get an unexpected prank!

How creative and surprisingly simple is that? This is one prank your family and friends will be talking about for years to come!

Be sure to check out the Best Buy Halloween Prank Idea page for inspiration for 4 other Halloween hijinks including:

  • Haunted House Preserved Head
  • Haunted House Snap-A-Fright
  • Haunted House Skitter & Scare
  • Haunted House Wicked Washroom

These are some fun and fantastic Halloween pranks that I can’t wait to try. I love how Best Buy incorporated tech into each of them which makes them even more creative and memorable. They would have fit perfectly into my parents haunted yard and are sure to be the talk of many parties these days!

What do you think? Which prank do you like the best?

That time was so much fun! Don’t know how we ever conned so many people into being actors.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
