Sunsets, Sea Turtles, Seashells, & More: Our Favorite Gulf County Florida Photos

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

You may remember that last fall we were went on a press trip to Gulf County Florida where flights, accommodations, meals, and activities were provided. I was thrilled to be invited because I love Florida. If you follow us on Instagram you’ll see that our account is filled with photos from our Florida travels. I had never been to Gulf County and was amazed when I learned that there are only 3 stoplights in the entire county and that cell phone signals aren’t very likely. While I love nature I wasn’t too sure about visiting a place where I couldn’t stay connected 24 hours a day.

I’m happy to say that the trip was incredible and far and away one of our favorite trips we’ve ever taken. I enjoyed unplugging for a bit. It allowed me to relax more and really appreciate all the beauty around me. And the stars! They were incredible! I’ve never seen so many in my entire life! We tried to take pictures but they just didn’t come out at all. I’ve since added “learn how to take pictures of stars” to my to do list.

Dave and I had such a fantastic time that we can’t wait to take Kora & Logan and the rest of the family there someday. We know they will be as captivated by the county as we are. I decided to put together a post full of our favorite Gulf County Florida photos to share our love for the area. Enjoy!

Florida has the most amazing sunsets. I remember when we went down there being mesmerized by the absolute beaauty of the sunset over the ocean. The Gulf side, I saw from Tecas and it is also amazing but the beaches the sand everything theree is a place I would love to live. Becautiful pictures!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
