How To Keep Kids Learning Over Summer With Brain Chase & A Chance To Win A 10K College Scholarship

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

This time of year I always spend hours trying to find ways to keep Kora & Logan busy over summer. They enjoy being active and learning as well. In the past they have done sports leagues, art classes, and even summer school.scholarship!

This post is sponsored by Brain Chase & The Motherhood and a registration was received.

I like to sign them up for a variety of activities with some that get them up off the couch and moving and others that are learning based. That’s why I’m excited that Brain Chase aims to keep kids learning over summer as well as gives them a chance for them to win a $10,000 college

Brain Chase is a summer learning adventure that challenges kids to do reading, writing, and math to unlock animated episodes that have clues to a real life buried treasure – a $10,000 college scholarship!

Brain Chase

This year the search is for the Sunstone of Cortés. Watch this trailer. It gives a peek into the animated episodes and explains how the program works:

The trophy is about 12 inches in diameter and has mechanically rotating components that open to reveal the center compartment, where the key to reveal the $10,000 scholarship will be hidden.

Here’s a look at how it was made:

Kids get to drop a pin on a virtual map every 24 hours with their guess to the location of the treasure and throughout the program they are mailed 3 mystery packages to help solve bonus challenges.

The first student who uses the animated clues to identify the treasures location within a 2 mile radius, gets to dig it up!

I was excited to learn that Brain Chase recently announced a new partnership with Rosetta Stone. All Brain Chase registrants will now have the opportunity to participate in a language model as part of their online academic work. If they choose Rosetta Stone it will replace the writing module. Students will be required to complete 2 lessons (a total of a little over an hour) each week in order to fulfill their language requirement and unlock the next animated episode.

They will be able to choose from 30+ languages.

There is also a teacher referral program where Brain Chase is offering $15 to teachers for each of their students they refer to Brain Chase. Registrants can simply enter their teacher’s name and school name when they register.

Brain Chase sounds fantastic and I’m excited that Kora & Logan will get a chance to participate this summer. They love learning adventures and this is sure to be a big one. It will be fun to see them excited to learn and to watch them try to figure out the clues.

Pricing

Beginning May 1, after early bird pricing ends, Brain Chase will be offering their regular pricing package ($199 for the first registration, and then $100 for each sibling), along with a premium pricing package that will include Brain Chase registration plus a Brain Chase-branded adventure backpack, a Brain Chase t-shirt and Sunstone of Cortés patch ($249 for the first registration, and then $149 for each sibling). Later in the summer, these items will be available for a la carte purchase.

Don’t Miss This!

  • The Brain Chase Library Challenge. Throughout the month of May, Brain Chase will be hosting a 4-city Library Challenge. In each of the following cities, they will hide a voucher worth $1,000 in a local public library:
    • Salt Lake City (May 4)
    • Seattle (May 11)
    • Boston (May 18)
    • Orange County (June 1)
  • A unique riddle will lead adventurers to the exact location of the voucher and a complimentary Brain Chase registration.

How exciting is that? Good luck to all of you readers living in those cities!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
