Why Smucker’s Uncrustables Are Great For On The Go Families

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Like many families we are always going from one kid’s activiy to the next. Kora and Logan stay busy after school and on weekends with lots of sports and activities including: soccer, flag football, baking lessons, knitting club, math pentathalon, leadership groups, animal club, and even trampoline classes. They also like to squeeze as many playdates with their cousins and friends whenever they can.

Uncrustables

This post is sponsored the J.M. Smucker Company who sent products, coupons, and compensation.

Since we often find ourselves heading from one thing to the next, I like to pack them Smucker’s Uncrustables to eat on the go.

Our freezer is often stocked with many of their varieties:

  • Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly
  • Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam
  • Peanut Butter & Honey Spread On Whole Wheat
  • Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
  • Peanut Butter & Raspberry Spread On Whole Wheat
  • Peanut Butter & Grape Spread On Whole Wheat
  • Reduced Sugar Peanut Butter & Grape Spread On Whole Wheat

I just take them out of the freezer either 30 minutes early or as we head out the door and the Uncrustables are ready to eat when the kids get hungry.

UncrustablesNow that Kora & Logan are a bit older, I’m always looking for snacks that are filling so they aren’t yelling, “I’m hungry!” five minutes later – Uncrustables are perfect for them. They enjoy them as a meal too on the weekends for a quick and easy lunch.

Take Uncrustables along with you the next time you find your family on the go. Here’s some great places to take them:

3 Hour Long Gymnastics Classes

When Kora was younger she made the gymnastics team and had 3 hour long classes multiple times a week. The gym was over 45 minutes away, so Logan and I would stay and watch. 3 hours is a long time for any kids and I would pack an Uncrustable for him to eat while we waited and for Kora to eat in the car on the way home.

Amusement Parks

Whenever we visit Cedar Point or take a trip to Disney World, we stock up on Uncrustables to bring along with us. We pack them in our drawstring backpacks in the morning and when the kids (or adults!) get hungry they are ready to eat, and much cheaper then amusement park food!

After School Snacks

Uncrustables On The Go FootballWhen you are running the roads with your kids after school going from one activity to the next, it’s nice to have Uncrustables for each of them to enjoy as an after school snack.

Family Road Trips

One of our favorite things to do as a family is travel and whenever we have a road trip planned we bring along Uncrustables for the us all to enjoy on the first leg of the trip. They are easy to pack, convenient, and delicious. And with their wide variety of flavors there is something for everyone.

Late Night Band Concerts or Sporting Events

Uncrustables On The Go ViolinIf your children have a late night band concert or sporting event, you can pack some Uncrustables in the car for them to eat on afterwards on the way home. That way when they are crunched for time and trying to get ready for bed, they’ve already eaten a delicious snack/meal along the way.

Day Trips

When you are heading out on a day trip as a family, whether it’s to visit grandparents, an ice sculpture festival, a water park, or to Sleeping Bear Dunes on the west side of the state, pack along Uncrustables. Kids and parents alike will be happy to have a delicious snack ready to go when they get hungry.

Smucker’s Uncrustables are one of our favorite snacks and as a family on the go, we take them everywhere with us. They add such convenience to our lives and we are able to enjoy our active family lifestyle so much more knowing they are packed and ready to eat whenever anyone is hungry.

These look great. Should be convenient and I like the sound of the jelly ones.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
