Quick Dinner Idea – Hamburger Helper® and Tater Tots Save The Day

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Hamburger Helper® . The opinions and text are all mine.

We have some pretty hectic days around with work, school, soccer or lacrosse and most of the time we remember to feed our kids dinner! So during these busy times we like to rely on a quick dinner idea from Hamburger Helper®. We are working with Hamburger Helper® to share one of our favorite easy dinner recipes and give you some additional ideas to inspire you to try your own.Hamburger Helper Recipe

Hamburger Helper® has plenty of different options when it comes to quick and easy meals, just add some ground beef, water, milk and butter and you are all set with a nice quick meal to satisfy the kids and parents. Our kids love cheesy noodles, so the Hamburger Helper® Deluxe Cheeseburger Macaroni is one of our faves. Now is when the fun starts and you get to be a little creative – hamburger is in the name, but we like to sub ground turkey for the ground beef, the taste is just as great!

Now for our super simple addition which is awesome! I must confess, both Tésa and I love loaded French fries, so this is our little spin on it. We take our Deluxe Cheeseburger Macaroni, start cooking it – which takes about 20 minutes or so, and we bake some tater-tots while we are prepping the Hamburger Helper®.Hamburger Helper Recipe

Tater-tots make for an excellent choice as a secret weapon ingredient in our quick, and budget friendly meal.

So once everything is prepared, we simply place the tater-tots on the plate, scoop some Hamburger Helper® on top and enjoy! You can get creative after this as well, I like to add some ketchup to my meal, you can also add onions and more cheese if you like.Hamburger Helper Recipe

Another one of our secrets for a quick dinner idea is that when we make Hamburger Helper®, we normally make a double portion, these leftovers are especially handy when you have 2 growing kids eating you out of house and home! When you have a winner that the kids love, one item that is even faster than Hamburger Helper® is leftover Hamburger Helper®!Hamburger Helper Recipe

This is our fun spin on a quick dinner idea, check out some other ideas for Hamburger Helper® recipes and get ready to make your own quick dinner idea that your family will love.

I bet I haven’t made Hamburger Helper since my son left for college. But I love the idea of mixing it up with Tater Tots! I mean who doesn’t love them?!? I’ll give this a try when he’s home for his next visit for sure…he’ll love it I know.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
