How Do You Disinfect Your Home?

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Did you know that indoor air is typically 5 times dirtier than outside air? It often includes bacteria, viruses and spores. This is just insane and crazy to think about. How do you disinfect your home to battle these things? Aero One Clean Air is Life

Aero One Air Disnfectation and Filtration System received.

Many people have air purifiers in their house which is a great first step, but often that air purifier does a good job cleaning the air, but that’s it. I wanted to tell you about a new machine which not only purifies the air, but also disinfects the air, eliminating bacteria, viruses and living spores.

That’s why I’m excited about the Aero One Air Disinfection and Filtration System.

Like I said, cleaning the air is very important, and a great first step, but what makes the Aero One different is that its ultraviolet based technology has been tested and proven to kill the bacteria and airborne viruses in the air, such as flue and measles. This is a pretty powerful key differentiator from its competitors, no other residential air purifying company can say the same thing. In addition to killing the bacteria and viruses, the Aero One also has 3 air filters in it to purify the air as well.

When the Aero One first arrived, I liked the basic clean appearance and immediately noticed the A in a circle for their logo. I joked that it reminded me of a certain group of super heroes who like to team up to save the world.Aero One UV

After first seeing it in action and reading about how it works, I quickly realized this unit should be wearing a cape to make it truly worthy of that A with a circle around it.

The largest area we ignore cleaning every day is the air that surrounds us, and since most people spend the extreme majority of their time indoors, Aeorobiotix felt the need to address and fix this. The Aero One is a spinoff of the first Aerobiotix product which is a larger operating room specific unit. Aerobiotix’s original product (the T1) is setting the standard in operating room air quality procedures. This commitment to quality with the same ultraviolet disinfecting technology was brought over to the residential unit and so are the positive results.

This technology was created when a neurosurgeon wanted to address the air quality in an attempt to reduce infection rates in operating rooms. Aero One UV

How does the Aero One disinfect your home? Like I mentioned earlier, there are 3 filters that clean the air and the ultraviolet lights clean it in the middle. Here is a breakdown.

  • Activated carbon prefiltration – this removes the odors in the airstream, such as pet odors, smoke, scents from cooking and more. The carbon captures large dust particles and starts the cleaning process.
  • Medium efficiency pleated prefilter – this 10” x 10” prefilter has a commercial grade rating and captures small dust and dirt particles. This keeps particles from getting into the unit.
  • The 3D- UV reactor – the air flow is directed thru cylinders which are illuminated by dual UV lamps which captures and eliminates bacteria, viruses and living spores.

As if all of this wasn’t enough . . .

  • HEPA filter – this large 12” x 12” x 6” thick medical grade HEPA filter is rated at 99.97% efficiency. This filter performs the final air polishing and prevents anything that may have gotten through from being released back into the air.

The really unique thing about the Aero One is that it is nice and easy to operate. It has one simple button to turn it on and then you are done, just let it start disinfecting and purifying.Aero One UV

This process works in hospitals, and will be great for your home. Think about it, you sleep for 6-8 hours every night in your home breathing the air. It is important to do all you can to make sure that air is clean and bacteria free for you and your family.Aero One How it Works

The Aero One does all of this and has helped many with allergies and asthma, this unit is worth every penny as it is being released to the general public. The Aero One is great for your home, but also will work great in offices, day care centers, schools and just about anywhere else.

I often clean with bleach, Lysol cleaners, and spray surfaces such as doorknobs and light switches with Lysol disinfectant spray. I enjoyed reading this article on the Areo One.

The Aero One sounds like a great product. I generally keep the windows open as much as possible and luckily live in an area where the air quaity is pretty decent. I woould love one of these over the winter, this would be helpful.

I knew that indoor air could be dirty, but not that dirty! OMG! I have a sister with asthma/COPD so the air she breathes everyday should es clean as possible. I think their technology is amazing and I would love to be able to get one of these for her first, then myself. Thank you for sharing such important info and the heads up on thid product!

This is something I could definitely use in my home since my husband is a smoker. I have air purifiers in the bedroom, office and main living area, but it never seems as if my air is really clean. I open the windows every morning to air the house out and that helps, but since we live in the deep south it’s not an option to leave them open during the summer months. I’ll have to check into this, thanks for the post.
