For every original post submitted until April 23rd that includes @Purina and #BHDogShow, Purina will donate $1.00 (up to $25,000) to the Leader Dogs for the Blind.
Leader Dogs for the Blind is a global organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Yoshi is definitely the star of our family. When she’s not sleeping in the window soaking up the sun, she’s entertaining us with her antics.
She knows a lot of tricks including: sit, stay, lay down, roll over, play dead, beg, give hugs, shake, and high five. She will even sit down if you say “car” because we trained her to do so on walks whenever a car drives by.
She is always making us laugh with the way she will lay on the ground with her paws up in the air.
In fact, if Dave lays down to stretch, she’ll lay down right next to him. If he puts up an arm, so will she. If he moves a leg, so will she. It’s very funny!
She really is an amazing dog. She barks a bit when people first arrive, but she loves people. She loves giving hugs where she lays her head on your lap, and getting her ears scratched. After she settles down, she is happy to lay in the middle of the floor no matter what is going on.
The kids could be running all over the house, laughing and singing, and she’s happy to either bound off and play with them or just as content to take a nap in the middle of it (especially if the electric fireplace is on!).
We love Yoshi and are so happy she came into our lives. She makes us smile every day and that’s why we think she is the star of our family!
Since I love dogs so much, I was excited to learn that the first annual Beverly Hills Dog Show Presented By Purina will premiere on April 16th, on USA at 8 pm ET and 7 pm CT. It will air again on NBC on April 23rd at 1 pm ET and 12 pm CT.
