As you know I love putting clothing and accessories together on Polyvore. It’s a fun way to plan your look for the upcoming season, a work event, summer concert, or more. I had been using the regular Polyvore app for awhile and it has been great – it’s very similar to using the website itself. Recently, I discovered the new Polyvore Remix app and after using it for just a few minutes I immediately declared it my new favorite fashion app!
The difference between the two apps is that in Remix you can select an outfit, hit Remix, and another outfit will pop up.
In this example I used the Find feature to search for tops and then used the filter to browse coral tops.
Next you find one you like and hit the Remix button.
It puts together an outfit set. You can select any item out of the set and Like it or Remix it on its own, you can hit Ask A Friend to get their thoughts, or you can Like the entire set.
Or you can hit the Remix button again and it will search for another outfit to go with that same top.
How fun is that?!
If you like an item you can also click on it and then click the Buy button to purchase it.
I was excited to see that each item and set you like appears in under your “Likes” in your Polyvore account on the web and in the regular Polyvore app. What an amazing way to discover new styles and accessories!
Here’s another look.
This time I searched for sunglasses in the Search Bar.
Next you select a pair you like and hit Remix.
It pulls together an outfit set based on the sunglasses.
You can hit Remix again and it will put together another outfit focusing on the same sunglasses.
If you like the dress you can click on it.
You can see other dresses below it which you can scroll through and select or you can hit Like, Buy, or Remix.
You can hit Remix and it will search for an outfit set.
It will pull up a new outfit with accessories.
Isn’t that great? All that inspiration from a pair of sunglasses!
Here a look at a few other features of the app. You can search by Clothing.
Narrow it down to search for Accessories.
Use the Filters to search for more specific items.
When you open the app you can browse what’s currently trending on Polyvore.
I love playing with this app whenever I have a few minutes and recommend it to those who enjoy fashion or need some style inspiration too. It’s easy to use and really fun. There are so many styles, clothing items, and accessories to chose from – whenever you click the like button it’s like you are a kid making holiday wish list.

I have heard of Polyvore and seen outfits but had no idea how it worked. Very cool apps to have actually. I like that you can get everything from shoes to hair accessories pulled into your look.
Polyvore is one thing I havent fooled around with at all. I am on so many social networks, I am not sure I would have time. It looks like a lot of fun though but I would always want to go dhopping for new things!
This sounds super fun! Will have to check it out.
