2-in1 Cleaning: HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Review

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

As a busy mom, I’m always looking for quick and easy ways to clean the house. At the same time I don’t want to sacrifice truly clean for speed. With a 7- and a 8-year-old and a dog that becomes a real challenge. They all love to play outside and they often bring their adventures into the house with them.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Review

HomeRight SteamMachine Multi-Purpose Steam Mop received.

They come in through the kitchen tracking mud and dirt, leaving foot and paw prints wherever they go. It’s tough to stay on top of, but I try. That’s why I was excited about the HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Multi-Purpose Steam Mop.

I’ve had this mop for a few weeks now and it’s been great for quick, easy, and thorough daily cleaning. It’s great to use on hard floor surfaces like laminate, hardwood, vinyl, linoleum, tile, and stone.

HomeRight SteamMachine PlusThere’s also a glider you can put on to steam your carpets.

HomeRight SteamMachine Floor PadI like that it is chemical free. Simply add water and the mop heats it up to 206 degrees which enables it to kill 99.9% of germs and bacteria including e-coli, salmonella, and staph.

There is a Steam Volume Control knob which allows you to control the amount of steam. Simply twist it counterclockwise for less steam and clockwise for more steam.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Control KnobThe mop also has an on-demand steam trigger on the handle.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Steam HandleThe mop and pad are triangular shaped and they swivel which makes it easy to get into corners.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus CornerThe handle folds down for easy storage too.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus StorageWhat I love about the SteamMachine Plus is that it’s simple to use and it’s more than a mop. It has a detachable hand-held steamer which is great for getting into smaller places.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Handheld

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus 2 in 1It also has 6 attachments that when used with the detachable hand-held steamer clean and disinfect stovetops, ovens, grills, countertops, and even bathrooms.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus AccessoriesThe attachments include:

  • Small nylon brush – microwaves, ovens, stovetops, faucet fixtures, tile, refrigerators
  • Large nylon brush – larger areas of microwaves, ovens, stovetops, faucet fixtures, tile, refrigerators
  • Angled jet nozzle – tight spots, hard to reach areas
  • Grout brush – grout lines
  • Scraper – scrape baked on food and grease, removing residue or sticky substances from stovetops, ovens, and floors
  • Squeegee/Fabric Steamer – showers, countertops, garment steaming

I also like that the tank will hold up to 12 oz of water which enables me to clean for 20 minutes or so at a time. That’s a good amount of time and I’m usually able to finish whatever I’ve started.

HomeRight SteamMachine Plus Handheld UnitYou can see that it’s a very handy and helpful item to have around the house. I recommend the HomeRight SteamMachine Plus to anyone looking for a quick and thorough way to clean their homes. It has many wonderful features, is easy to use, and with it’s high temperature steam it kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria.

I see that this steam mop gets rid of terrible germs that Are in the bathroom by heating up the water and steaming and killing the germs. I sure would love to own one of these machines to clean my bathroom floors.

I have a floor steamer and I love it! It actually makes me WANT to clean, which is something. I love the triangle head on this one though, because getting into corners is a little difficult.

The kitchen is the place in most need of steam because of all the greasy residue that smoke tends to carry with it. I also like how well it can get into corners.

This is what I need around my house. With all of us here at home most of the time, It gets messy and that messy dog of ours. Poagie ( our dog) likes to tear up stuff.

I will have to check that mop out. My mom has bought 2 of a different brand and had to send both of them back because they would never heat up and steam. I like this one.

I love that the mop heats it up to 206 degrees to kill 99.9% of germs, that is is easy to store, and has a knob to control the amount of stem. I really need a stem mop for my hardwood floors. Great review!

We are full time RV ers and this would be super nice for our 5th wheel. Easy to clean in smaller spaces and does not take much space to store. Very handy.
