Why The Graco TurboBooster LX Is Great For Children From 40 – 100 Lbs #ExtendTheTrip

As a participant of the Generation Graco program, I’ve received compensation for my time and product samples for review purposes. Opinions are my own.

Generation Graco Badge

When Kora & Logan were babies one of my biggest dilemmas was which car seat to get them. After they grew to be toddlers, then I had to go through it all over again – the hours of research, the agony of which seat was best, until finally making what I hoped was the right decision. Then they kept growing and were in backless boosters, it wasn’t as difficult to pick one, but I still did my research to make sure they were riding in the correct seat. It wasn’t that long ago and these days I see that car seats transition with kids.

In fact, since I was recently asked to be part of the Generation Graco Moms Panel I learned about and was impressed with the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Car Seat which is their newest car seat and it grows with your child helping you #ExtendTheTrip. It looks like a great car seat with lots of amazing features.

Since we aren’t in need of a seat for a baby, Graco was kind enough to send us the Graco TurboBooster LX for review.

Graco TurboBooster LXThis backless booster is fantastic because it’s perfect for kids from 40 – 100 lbs. While it might surprise you, but even in 4th grade Logan has some friends still in backless boosters. This is because they haven’t hit the right size or weight limit yet and the seatbelts just don’t sit properly on them.

Here’s a look at Logan sitting in the Graco TurboBooster LX:

Graco TurboBooster ReviewYou can see pictures of Kora down below showing off some of its features.

They are both still light enough to use this backless booster. Some things that I really like about this booster include:

One Hand Front Adjust Latch System

Graco TurboBooster Backless Booster

Graco TurboBooster 2

Graco TurboBooster 3

Graco TurboBoosterThis easily secures the booster to the vehicle, it also allows you to easily tighten the booster when you need to

Secure Connection Keeps Booster In Place When Seat Is Unoccupied

Graco TurboBoosterThis is brilliant! Boosters have a tendency to end up every which way when the kids aren’t in them, this is a real timesaver, they just get in, sit down, buckle, and your ready to go.

Integrated Cup Holder For Snacks & Drinks

Graco TurboBooster ReviewsThis makes it easy for the kiddos to reach everything on their own.

Storage Compartment for Sunglasses & Other Favorite Items

Graco TurboBooster Storage CompartmentThe kids love this almost secret compartment where they can store their sunglasses or other favorite items and always have them nearby.

Height Adjustable Arm Rests

Graco TurboBooster ReviewThese are great as they grow with your child making them more comfortable.

Removable & Machine Washable Padding

Graco TurboBooster Cup Holder

The padding is easy to remove and is machine washable which is a simple and convenient way to keep it clean

The Graco TurboBooster LX also has been safety tested and has some impressive stats:

  • Engineered & crash tested to meet or exceed US standard FMVSS 213
  • Side Impact Tested1 ; New Car Assessment Program (NCAP)-peak Crash Force approximately 2X Car Seat Standard2.; Extreme Car Interior Temperatures3 1
  • In addition to meeting or exceeding all applicable US safety standards, the TurboBooster LX™ Backless Booster with Affix Latch System has been side impact tested

I’m impressed with the Graco TurboBooster LX and recommend parents who are in the market for a backless booster to take a look. Not only are the features listed above impressive, but it’s stylish and trendy too – and most of according to my kids, comfortable!

This looks like a great booster. I know when kids reach a certain age they don’t want to sit in one anymore but it’s so important for their safety.

This is a great booster! I love that it goes up to 100 lbs and has a cup holder. Would be perfect for my oldest grandson!

I like the features of this booster!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
