Fun Family Reunion Pictures – Seabrook Island, S.C.

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

We just got back last night from a week long family reunion on Seabrook Island in South Carolina. Seabrook Island is just 30 minutes south of Charleston and it’s a gorgeous place. We rented a vacation cottage and were just minutes from beautiful beaches. It was a wonderful trip and we were able to spend lots of time with relatives we don’t see often and we celebrated our cousin’s graduation. She picked the place and it couldn’t have been more perfect and relaxing.

Here’s more than a few pics from our trip:

We had the beach to ourselves

Seabrook Island

Which made it the perfect place to fly kites

Seabrook Island Kites

The waves were fun and we did lots of swimming

Seabrook Island Fun

Every morning & evening we went shelling

We found starfish, a stingray, and 300 lb sea turtle tracks!

We visited the Crabbing Dock

There were deer outside our cottage every day

We saw lots of Spanish Moss

And couldn’t get enough of the palm trees

The flowers were beautiful

And so were the sunsets

The boardwalks were long and intriguing

 The houses were gorgeous

Just found out last week, my husband is taking me to the Outer Banks of NC in June. Seeing your pics of the beach make we want to be there right now!!! Have you done any reviews there? I looked thru, but didn’t see any.

My husband and I celebrate our 30th next summer. He’s talked about a cruise, or visiting a tropical place, but a beach house on the coast sounds wonderful to ME!!

Wow, you saw some really cool stuff on your beach walks! I’ve never seen a giant turtle in its natural habitat, or even tracks of one. I’ve never been that close to a sting ray either. I usually don’t get to the beach until the late morning or early afternoon, and by then all the cool stuff has been discovered by other people, and any sea creatures that were hanging around have been scared off by the crowds of people.

Great photos. I have never been there but it looks fun. My kids would probably love the beach there. With it being that empty they would think they owned it. I think it would be fun to run on the boardwalks in the early, early morning!

Love your pictures. We have been going to Seabrook Island for years and will actually be there this coming week for the July 4th festivities. My brother and sister have places there. I love seeing it through someone else’s eyes (and through their excellent photography!)
