Festive & Fun 4th of July Desserts

In just a few weeks 4th of July will be here. We like to have a family get together to celebrate. We like to picnic, watch a parade, and go to the fireworks. It’s a fun summer holiday and I enjoy making sure we have delicious recipes for everyone. I’ve been filling my Pinterest boards with ideas of desserts to make.

4th of July DessertsThere are so many good ones out there that I decided to put together a collection of my favorites festive & fun 4th of July desserts and share them here.

Don’t these all look delicious? They are all pretty easy too. When I’m preparing our 4th of July menu I like to make sure that the recipes are delicious, appealing, and simple to make. This is important to me because I prefer to prepare the recipes with love in as little time as possible. I like to be outside enjoying the festivities with everyone else rather than in the kitchen all day.

This is especially important on the 4th of July because it tends to be very hot here in Cleveland and last year our neighborhood lost power. I’m guessing it’s because there were so many air conditioners running! That’s why I like making sure the recipes can be prepared quickly for this holiday in particular. I want to make sure everyone has enough to eat, the food is delicious, and that it’s available before there’s any chance of the power going out again!

What about you? What is your favorite 4th of July recipe?
