Fruity Pebbles Treats Recipe

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

When Kora & Logan were babies I would spend my Saturday mornings at children’s consignment sales. Not only did I find great deals on new and like new clothing and toys, but the bake sale at each one was worth getting up early for.

One day I came across a table that had a variety of different Rice Krispies treats. On that table, one group of treats really stood out. They were bright and colorful and calling to me. I went for a closer look and realized they were made of Fruity Pebbles and they were going fast.
Fruity Pebbles Treats Recipe

I grabbed one and as soon as I took a bite I was hooked. It was incredible! I confess, I finished it and went back for another. I was happy to hand over my money for something so delicious and for a fundraiser too.

Recently decided to make up a batch at home and hoped they would come out just as delicious as the ones at the bake sale. I was excited when this Fruity Pebbles Treats Recipe turned out to be so easy and ready in minutes. I was even more thrilled that they are just as fantastic as the day I had them at the bake sale. They are a big hit around here and I know they won’t last long. The good news is, we have lots of boxes of Fruity Pebbles and I can’t wait to make more!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups of mini-marshmallows
  • 5 cups of Fruity Pebbles

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 X 13 pan with cooking spray
  2. In a large saucepan, over low heat melt the butter. Add marshmallows and stir until they are melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add Fruity Pebbles and mix until coated.
  4. Pour Fruity Pebbles mixture into the pan and press down with a spatula.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for one hour and then cut into squares.
  6. Eat and enjoy!

    Tésa,
Thank you so much for the recipe, I am a Rice Krispie treat addict. I eat one then I have to have the entire pan. I just LOVE EM!!!!
I have thought of making them with Fruity Pebbles and CoCo Pebbles but just haven’t gotten around to it. I’m afraid I’d eat the entire pan than make some more…lol

These are one of my kids favorite treats. Plus I don’t mind making them since they are almost totally fat free.

I’ve been wanting to try making these forever, and the time is now!!! Not only because I found this great-sounding recipe, but because there are people in my life who are living the gluten-free lifestyle, and Fruity Pebbles and Jet Puffed marshmallows are gluten-free (crispy rice is not)! This will make a nice treat for them this holiday season! :)

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
