Father’s Day is right around the corner and I thought it would be fun to put together a collection of some of my favorite quotes by celebrity dads:

I have always loved quotes and back in high school and college I carried around a notebook so I could write down any that struck me as motivational, thought-provoking, or funny. Now I find it fun to pin them on to Pinterst so I can refer back to them whenever I want to.

If you’re on Pinterest be sure to follow me at Tésa at 2 Wired 2 Tired. I have a fun Father’s Day Board too. Pinterest is one of my favorite sites and is so full of inspiration I’m always looking for more people to follow.

With Father’s Day nearly here it’s got me thinking of how we will celebrate. Dave and I were talking about a local 5K that might be fun to run, but it requires getting up really early. This normally wouldn’t be that much of a negative but it is on Father’s Day and Dave does love to sleep in so this might not be the way to begin. However the feeling of accomplishment after the run might be worth it. We’re going to wait a few days to see how the weather looks before we decide whether we should sign up.

Until then I’m on the hunt for Father’s Day ideas for him and plan to take Kora & Logan to the craft store to buy things to make cards and other cute arts and crafts keepsakes for him. The day should be lots of fun and no matter what we end up doing I’m sure we’ll start it off with pancakes – Dave’s favorite breakfast.

What about you? Do you love quotes? Are you on Pinterest? If so leave your Pinterest name below so I can follow you.

Happy Father’s Day! My Dad passed on in 1982. The best advice he ever gave me was, don’t believe everything you hear out of Washington DC- words of wisdom that ring true , especially with the latest IRS scandals.
By the way, my pinterest name is Cindy Merrill.

I think some celebrities may be better suited for parenting quotes than others. Alec Baldwin may be one that should keep his advice to himself!!!

My father believed in me, too. Good quotes, thanks.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
