With Mother’s Day right around the corner I’ve been keeping my eye out for great gift ideas. I found one recently that’s sure to bring a smile to the face of any mom.

We were sent the  Samsung Galaxy Note for review and it is the perfect combination of smartphone and tablet. It’s a great primary device that minimizes the need to switch back-and-forth between phone, tablet, camera, etc.  One less thing for us multi-tasking moms to have to do. And it’s so fun too!

I love the general features mentioned above of the Samsung Galaxy Note as well as the S Pen.

Samsung Galaxy Note S PenThe S Pen is more than a simple stylus. It not only points like a traditional stylus but it also features 256 levels of pressure sensitivity and allows you to do so much more with the Note.

Of course that’s not all. I was also excited to learn that the S Pen works with all Android apps. Some apps are even more fun or useful with the S Pen including:

While I love the Samsung Galaxy Note, Dave is a techy at heart and he’s spent a lot of time playing with this device. He even said it’s making him think twice about his iPhone – now that’s saying something!

I’m looking forward to incorporating the Note into my daily life and enjoying it’s time-saving and fun features – that is if I can get it away from Dave long enough!

We both have enjoyed our time with the Samsung Galaxy Note and recommend it to anyone looking for a last minute Mother’s Day gift. It’s an amazing device and one that would have any mom floating on cloud nine this Mother’s Day.
