Enjoying The Long Days Of Summer

This post is part of a sponsored series for Socialstars; however the honest opinions are my own.

Summer is here! June 20th marked the first and longest day of summer. I’m looking forward to enjoying many long days ahead outside with Dave and the kids. After being cooped up all winter and most of our chilly spring, it’s going to be wonderful spending time in the sunshine and fresh air.

While it’s a beautiful time of year with sunshine, warm temps, and blue skies, it’s also allergy season. Just the other day at Logan’s football game the fluffies from the cottonwood trees were floating around the field so much it looked like it was snowing! Needless to say, everyone was itching their noses, coughing, and getting scratchy throats. That’s why I like to keep Ricola in my purse for moments like this.

Ricola SummerMy other favorite part about this time of year is gardening. The flowers are blooming beautifully and the ones that haven’t yet are going to start soon. I love having a gorgeous garden and know that gardening can make you mindful and ease stress too. Tending to flowers and veggies can help you relax and enjoy being outdoors even more. Being outdoors is important for your wellbeing – being comfortable, happy, and healthy.

Ricola helps you enjoy the outdoors even more if your allergies are causing an itchy throat or cough. In addition to helping you feel better Ricola aims to spread happiness and optimism wherever it goes using Ricola’s signature style.

Ricola Summer GardeningI was interested to learn that every Ricola herb drop has their Swiss herb blend that goes to work quickly and naturally to relieve an itchy throat and cough caused by allergies. It’s going to be an amazing summer and I can’t wait to enjoy the long fun-filled days ahead!

I really like these cough drops because they taste so good and do not have that terrible medicine flavor. It sounds like a good product to use for my allergies.

I am going to have to try the herb drops. I love spending as much time as possible outside in the summer and get frustrated with my allergies. These drops sounds like a big help!

Ricola helps me with my allergies from gardening outside too. I like the honey and herb.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
