A Great Gift Idea: DaVinci MiniMaker 3D Printer From XYZ Printing

I was going to title this post, “A Great Gift Idea For Kids,” however after using the DaVinci MiniMaker 3D Printer from XYZ Printing for the last few weeks, I couldn’t leave adults out of this amazing gift idea. If you know someone in your life that seems to have everything and you just don’t know what to get them for the holidays or their birthday – this 3D printer is the way to go and will be a gift they’ll never forget!

It’s great for older kids too. In fact, last year Kora’s teacher was able to get a 3D printer for their classroom and Kora was practically doing flips she was so excited. Unfortunately, the teacher could never get the printer to work and it sat in the back of the class unused.

It clearly wasn’t a DaVinic MiniMaker 3D Printer. Once you get it set up this printer is very easy to use and fun too!

It’s simple to go on to the XYZprinting.com site and you can select any number of things to print from their 3D gallery including:

  • Holiday Jewelry Boxes
  • Christmas Ornaments & Decorations
  • Puzzles
  • Bookmarks
  • Photo Frames
  • Snowflakes
  • Ferris Wheels
  • Phone & Tablet Accessories
  • Cookie Cutters
  • Spirographs

I will say that the directions that came with the printer were a bit tricky to follow and I would have liked something more in-depth to make sure I was doing everything correctly, but looking back it was all pretty easy in the end. We had it set up and running in under 10 minutes and we were on our way to printing our first ever 3D printed object – a bookmark!

There are so many things to choose from on the XYZprinting.com site (over 5,000 items!) that you can find something for everyone. There are 9 categories including:

  • Toys
  • Tools
  • Gadgets
  • Housewares
  • Art
  • Fashion
  • Office
  • Education
  • …and more

We are all in love with our DaVinci MiniMaker 3D Printer and recommend it to anyone looking for a great STEM gift idea for kids or adults. It’s a gift that won’t be forgotten and one that encourages learning, education, and curiosity in everyone who uses it.

This is such a cool thing to have and to give as a gift for the upcoming holidays. Great review!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
