Coolibar ZnO Tropical Weight Quarter Zip Shirt Review

I’m always looking for ways to stay cool on hot summer days. Also I’m very conscious of my sun exposure as well. I like to stay covered, cool, and stylish.

Coolibar Reviews

ZnO Tropical Weight Quarter Zip Shirt received.

That’s why I was excited to be sent a shirt from Coolibar.

I have now ordered a couple of items from Coolibar and I’m never disappointed in the quality and feel of them. They offer far more for their dollar than the average product. Their products come with UPF protection!

This time I ordered a ZnO Tropical Weight Quarter Zip Shirt. Just like the jacket I ordered previously, this top comes with a UPF 50+ sun protection. It has a slight stretch and will be perfect for wearing around the house now and outside once the days warm up.

I am excited to see if it provides the same affect as my jacket did. Last summer Randy and I were standing on cement decking watching power boat races. I had thrown my jacket in the car because I didn’t know if I would be too cool on the water. We definitely weren’t too cool, rather much too hot. I put the jacket on hoping for maybe some protection from the sun.

Imagine my surprise when I immediately felt cooler. It was because the fabric blocked 98% of the sun’s UVA. The rays could not penetrate through to my arms. Everyone else around me was roasting, but I was comfortable.

Coolibar is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation and approved by the Melanoma International Foundation. Their products are tested in an independent laboratory. The Zinc Oxide (ZnO) can’t be absorbed by the skin, and can’t wear or wash off.

I would recommend Coolibar’s products to anyone who is out in the sun. Not only for the dermatological protection they provide, but also for their sheer comfort.

I have NEVER heard of this brand and it is so COOL! (Literally:) We live WAY in the north, so nothing needed right now, but am bookmarking to remember. We have skin cancer in our family…mom, brother, two uncles and a brother in law that died from it at only 24…he got originally when only 15. so I am a big believer in what ever can help block what can damage or even take your life….

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
