Cool Creamy Peach Pie Recipe

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

This time of year here in Michigan fresh fruit is starting to be in season. The stores and farmer’s markets are filled with delicious grapes, strawberries, blueberries, and even peaches. I love eating them by themselves and also in recipes – especially as a dessert! That’s why I was excited when Dave brought home fresh peaches from the store recently. I decided to chop them and mix them into a cool creamy peach pie.

Cool Creamy Peach Pie RecipeThis dessert turned out much different than a typical peach pie. It’s creamy and cool, perfect at the end of a long hot day. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ll love it! It’s only takes a few minutes to prepare and then it chills in the fridge or freezer for a bit before serving.

Cool Creamy Peach PieI took it to our family picnic and it got lots of compliments. If you make it and is taking too long to set you can use a spoon or fork to mix it all together and turn it into a delicious crumble-like dessert. I loved this recipe and will be making it again with peaches but also can’t wait to try different fruit too!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped fresh peaches
  • 1 8-inch graham cracker crust pie shell
  • 20 large marshmallows
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan mix and melt the butter, marshmallows, and milk
  2. Add Cool Whip & peaches
  3. Pour into crust and put in freezer for an hour, store in fridge until ready to serve

This looks really good! This is a perfect dessert during the summer heat. It’s nice you don’t have to heat up your oven to have a delicious pie.

Peach is one of my favorite flavors. I would be tempted to try real whipped cream in it instead of the Cool Whip.

Sounds so good – I can’t wait for our peaches to be ready to pick. Never would have thought of the marshmallows.

Oh yum! This pie looks like an easy cool treat for Summer. I will have to make it and have it for a Summer picnic. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits to use in desserts.
