Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Can you believe Father’s Day is right around the corner? It sort of snuck up on me this year and I’ve been trying to think of a great gift or two to give Dave on Sunday.

I love Target and I’m there often. I know right where everything is and on this trip I headed straight for the C9 women’s section to look over all of their athletic apparel.

I was excited to see that there were a number of items on sale for a great price and I really loved these shirts.

They are made of moisture wicking material which is perfect for a hot day or a hard workout. The bright colors are eye-catching and pretty and I thought they’d add a nice pop of color to my workout wardrobe.

I also found this jacket which was on sale for only $8! I’m addicted to nice workout jackets, I tend to be colder than everyone else and I find these jackets are great ways to stay warm while still looking fashionable. I wear them while working out on chilly days or just out and about especially in the evening.

Target C9 Women'ts Jacket ReviewI love the color of this jacket, it’s lovely and the fit is nice too. It’s both sporty and trendy. Even though I was shopping for Father’s Day I had to pick it up – $8 is an amazing bargain for such a stylish jacket.

I looked over the rest of the C9 women’s athletic apparel and added a number of items to my wish list:

  • Yoga Pants – if you follow me on Twitter you know how much I love a good pair of yoga pants
  • Cropped Workout Pants
  • Shorts
  • Tanks
  • Sports Bras,
  • Socks

I then went over to the men’s section to start some Father’s Day shopping for Dave. He has recently discovered performance tees by C9 that are light, airy, moisture wicking, and made of a fast drying fabric. While I am someone who is always cold, Dave is always hot. So these shirts have been a great discovery especially since we’ve been having very hot weather lately and the a/c in our car is broken.

I picked him up a couple of the C9 Duo Dry Max Tees. There was a wide range of colors to choose from so I bought him one in Orange since he is a big time Browns fan.

Target C9 ReviewI also got him one in black, which he likes because it goes with everything. (I have a picture of him in it but I didn’t realize when I took it that he blinked. I’ll be sure to upload a better one as soon as I can get him to pose again).

While browsing the men’s C9 section I was excited to discover the Advanced High Performance Duo Dry Max Polos. They also are moisture wicking and made of a light material which should keep Dave cool on those hot summer days. He loves to golf so these will be perfect if he gets a chance to hit the links or they are very stylish and perfect for the office or a summer party too.

I bought him one in blue with fine white strips and thought it looked classy and would keep him cool.

Target C9 Men's Polo ReviewAs you can see I gave Dave his Father’s Day gifts early. He is excited about the shirts and is looking forward to wearing them often this summer. I’m happy to have come across such a great idea for last minute Father’s Day gifts and I’m glad that Dave is enjoying the shirts so much. I had a great time shopping C9 in Target and recommend their athletic apparel to anyone looking for a Father’s Day gift idea.
