Brother Business Smart Inkjet Review

Brother Printer received.

Brother Printer ReviewThe Brother Business Smart Inkjet is a new all-in-one that offers many fantastic features including:

  • The fastest in its class in print speeds
  • The smallest in its class
  • Prints 11 X 17 documents
  • Esy to use touchscreen
  • Prints wirelessly from a smartphone
  • Ability to upload scanned documents and photos to a variety of web platforms including Facebook, Evernote, Google Docs, etc.
  • …and much more.

I have been using this all-in-one for the past few weeks and I have to say this may be the best printer we’ve ever had. The color inkjet technology allows it to print in high quality and I love the vibrance and crispness of the colors.

Brother Printer ReviewsI also like that it has built-in wireless and wired network capabilities. I connected it to our wifi in minutes and soon discovered I was able to print wirelessly from my phone!

I was so impressed with this feature that I made a video which also shows just how quick the printer is and how well it prints:

As you can see in the video, one of my other favorite features is the ability to upload photos or files to Facebook, Evernote, Google Docs, Dropbox, Flickr, and more web platforms. All right from the inkjet. You can do this through the memory card slot or through the scanner.

You can also see in the video how easy the touchscreen is to use. It’s nice and big and at 3.7″ it’s easy to read.

A few other impressive specs of the Brother Business Smart Inkjet All-in-One include:

  • Fast printing speeds: up to 20 pages per minute in black & 18 pages per minute in color
  • 11 X 17 printing
  • Borderless printing
  • 150 paper tray capacity
  • Flatbed & sheetfed scanning
  • Can enlarge copied documents up to 400%
  • Stand alone copying option
  • Black & white and color faxing
  • High-Speed Super G3 33.6K bps fax modem
  • Up to 200 page fax memory
  • 20 page auto document feeder for faxing, scanning, or copying
  • 4 ink cartridge system
  • One push wireless setup

I find it hard to believe that an all-in-one can do all this and have the smallest footprint in its class. I’m impressed with how little room it takes up on my desk and it has a very professional clean design that would look great in any home or business office.
Brother PrinterI recommend the Brother Business Smart Inkjet to anyone looking for a new top of the line all-in-one. With its incredible array of features, fast and high quality printing speeds, compact size, and easy wifi setup, it’s an all-in-one you can count on.

I don’t need a lot of features, but I’m definitely looking at ink usage/cost on my next printer. My HP ink is outrageous and it seems like a lot of sales say “excludes HP ink”.

When I think of Brother printers, I still think of the brother printers of old where the printers cost as much as a set of ink. Sometimes cheaper. I remember there were a few customers that would come in the store I worked at during the holidays and buy 3 or 4 printers. When I commented that they must be Christmas shopping, they said not, they were just stocking up on printers for the year. Once ink ran out on one they just threw the printer away and plugged in a new one!

This printer though looks anything but disposable. I like the design where the paper actually sits in a tray and I can’t figure out how it is sheetfed! That is one feature that I really want in my next printer plus this one can do 11×17 printing! how cool is that?

I’ve thought about buying a printer that can print 11 x 17 photos instead of sending them to be done on a website. My brother has one, I’m not sure what brand, but it makes excellent picures. Thanks for the review, I’ll be looking into this one!

Wow! I’m truly impressed I love the fact that its compact there’s no tray sticking out of the back. And that picture looks amazing!
