4 Easy Ways To Organize Your Home

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

After a very long winter spring is finally here. The weather is warming up, the cold and snow has passed. It’s a wonderful time to throw open the windows, let in the fresh air, and to start getting the house we’ve been cooped up in all winter organized.

Post-it Home Goods Collection

This post is sponsored by Post-it Brand and products pictured received.

That’s why I’m excited to share with you these 4 Easy Ways To Organize Your Home using items from the new Home Collection by Post-it® Brand, Scotch® Brand and Command™ Brands.Use Caddies

For years we were at a loss about how to store all of our pens, markers, and scissors. We tried tossing them in drawers, putting them in a standing pencil holder that looked like a mini-golf bag, and even dropping them into a bowl on our countertop. Each method takes up a lot of space and never encouraged us to put any of the items back where we got them. That’s why we were excited to start using the Command Clear Caddy.

Post-it Home Collection CaddyWhat we like about this caddy is that you can use the Command Clear Adhesive Strips that come with the Caddy to attach it strongly to a variety of surfaces. We chose the side of our refrigerator because we walk by it often which makes it easy to return any pens and markers where they belong.

Post-it CaddyThe Clear Caddy makes it easy to grab the item you need and it keeps everything neat, tidy, and off the counter.

Put it in a Pocket

One of my biggest battles is mail that piles up on the kitchen counter. I try to deal with the mail as it comes in but Dave would rather leave it on the counter and go through it later. After while we end up with quite a big pile that usually topples over and spreads across the counter. That’s why I was excited to try the Post-it View and Go Pockets.

Post-it Large Pocket

Post-it Small PocketAs you can see these pockets are perfect for keeping mail, papers, menus, recipes, and coupons all off the counter. The View and Go Pockets are easy to mount and remove from refrigerators, cabinets, and more and they can hold quite a bit. I like that the flap seals make it easy to remove the whole pocket to take on the go.

Post-it Pockets

Post-it Small Pocket OrganizationWe’ve also found that they are great for all of the school papers that Kora & Logan bring home. Many have to be returned a few days later and it’s been tricky trying to remember exactly what goes back when and where the kids or we put it. We’ve stuck the larger pocket to inside door of a lower cabinet so Kora & Logan can reach it if they need to.

Post-it Large Pocket OrganizationIt’s worked out well and keeps everything organized, easy to find, and out of the way.

Refrigerator Door Organization

Our refrigerator is full of schedules. We’ve got the school calendar, two lunch schedules, a flag football schedule, and a soccer game schedule. We’ve been using a variety of magnets to keep them all stuck to the refrigerator. It’s been tough trying to display everything so it’s easily seen and since the magnets I have aren’t strong enough to hold everything I’ve had to use multiple to do so. Thankfully the Post-it Magnet Grip Discs came to the rescue.

Post-it Magnetic Grip DiscsAs you can see these Magnet Grip Discs are stylish, trendy, and strong. I like that these are more than simple magnets, they actually have a clip that can hold multiple documents.

Post-it MagnetThe unique design of the clip makes it easy to insert the documents with just one hand.

Displaying Kids Artwork

Having a 7- and 8-year-old means our house is overflowing with creative and cute kids artwork and school projects. We usually hang up some of their favorites in their room but have tried to find a great display solution that will allow us all to enjoy their creations and the Post-it Grip Display Rail will be the perfect item to help us do so.

Post-it GripWe can also use Post-it Display Cards with the Grip Display Rail and Kora & Logan will be excited to use them both to hang up their artwork. I put some of their school papers in so you can see how it looks. It’s nice and easy to get the papers in but without the cards they flop over.

Post-it Grip BarKora and Logan are excited about the Display Rail and that it’s a very easy to change the artwork being displayed so whenever they bring home something new they can change it around to their liking and we can all enjoy their art projects.

We are working hard on getting our house organized this spring and the Home Collection by Post-it Brand, Scotch Brand, and Command Brand has helped us get a good start. We recommend the line to anyone looking for a stylish, friendly, and easy way to organize your home.

As hard as I try I can never seem to get organized. I love some of these products though. My biggest problem is getting family to put stuff back in it’s place once it has been organized instead of leaving it wherever they happen to be using it…ugh!

I love all of these ideas even though it’s still autumn here in New Zealand. The display rail would be handy. I have two kids at day-care and they are bringing home art-work regularly. Thanks for a great blog.

Spring? Hah! We had 8 inches of snow in the last 24 hours. Hard freeze tonight. 70 degrees by Saturday?
I like the cup for holding pens handy.

I like using Caddies because I can really organize my home with these and make it look uncluttered. I do not like everything lying all around and I can keep things in the caddies and find the items easily.
