Mmmm….bacon. It’s one of the trendiest and tastiest foods out there today. So much so that when I did an online search for bacon recently not only did I find a number of delicious recipes but an extraordinary amount of bacon themed Halloween costume ideas. If you’re heading to a costume party this fall, I’m going to guess that someone there will be dressed as bacon.
I’m not sure why it’s become so popular. It could be that people have been incredibly creative with it in the past few years. You can find bacon in nearly everything. In fact, Dave and I have been to different restaurants recently where we found bacon flavored popcorn and bacon milkshakes on the menus.
The best thing about bacon is that it’s delicious year round. It works for tailgating, Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring, 4th of July, and summer barbecues.
