A couple of weeks ago I shared my experience with the Withings Activité Pop, it is a great looking smart watch on its own, but it is also part of a larger interactive group of technology. I really enjoyed the Withings app, there is a ton of information that is able to be processed and shared in an easy to read format in the app.
I was thrilled to learn that there are a couple of other Withings products which are also great at gathering info and providing it to you in a manner that you can use it the best way you feel fit to.
Withings also has some additional devices which will help you monitor and improve the health of your body and home, as well as the security of your home.
The Withings Smart Body Analyzer is a super scale which can help you get or stay in shape with many extra cool features. This scale connects to your home WiFi so it can share all of the results with you.
You are able to get high-accuracty weight and body fat measurements, as well as your Body Mass Index (BMI). You are able to select the body type that fits you best and this smart scale is able to handle up to 8 people – more than your average family.
Once you see your body composistion, the Smart Body Analyzer takes your pulse every time you step on the scale, and thru the app you are able to see a history of all the results so you can follow along and track your progression, or see a trend and stop it early.
2 bonus features on the Smart Body Analyzer are that after you step on it, you get the daily weather forecast too. This is handy because most people weigh themselves in the morning, before getting dressed to head to work, so this is a simple and streamlined way to help you out with something you will most likely check at some point in the morning.
Lastly, the Smart Body Analyzer helps gauge the quality of your home by checking the air quality – the CO2 and room temperature, and the results are available in the app and you are able to view the history there as well.
This Smart Body Analyzer works great alone and even better when used with other Withings products like the Activité Pop. It is available at retail stores and online for about $149.
Withings also has a product to help protect your home, and in turn protect you and your family. Withings Home is a health inspiring HD camera with air quality sensors. This is a very high quality camera, and I have had a chance to review a number of home cameras. We will go over the camera specs in a bit, I want to talk about how this camera is different.
The Withings Home is different because it monitors your air quality in your home, and offers protection from those invisible threats and contaminants. The results are shared in an app with easy to read graphs showing the current and past levels of Volatile Organic Compounds. If it is at unhealthy levels the Home unit will blink red and send you a notification on your phone. This will enable you to make smart decisions in your home when it comes to cleaning products and other contaminants in your home.
Here are some features that make the Withings Home stand out from its competition;
Alerts – most cameras offer a basic motion alert, the Home unit takes it to the next level offering notifications when there is noise and/or motion in the area of the camera, also it notifies you when there is a change in the air quality of your room. Very cool and different!
Also, this is the first security camera customized to work with the Apple Watch, you can follow along on your wrist.

– 135 degree viewing angle, this is a HUGE area to cover and it looks good too, there is no warped or “fish eye” appearance.
– 12x’s zoom with auto enhancement – you are able to take your live stream and zoom in and the camera will re-focus on your aiming point.
– 2 Way Voice Communication –you are able to speak thru your Home unit via your smartphone or tablet and can have a conversation with a very minimal delay back and forth.
– Time Lapse Recap – this is pretty neat, at any time you are able to get a quick replay of your day from the lens of the Withings Home. Every time motion is detected a snapshot is saved and you can access it on this 24 hour recap. You can also scroll back and see the motion pictures from the last 2 days.
