Great Gift Idea For Guys: The Panasonic Arc 3 Shaver

As an Amazon Associate/Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Anyone who has known me for at least a couple of months has probably seen me with at least 2 different styles of facial hair. I have tried a bit of everything and continue to change it up just because I can. I guess it would be pretty safe to say that I am a Scruffy Dude. I used to have a baby face, so when I grew a goatee or beard,  it made me look older. Even today, when I shave I look a lot younger, partially because shaving gets rid of all the grey hairs that come from 2 kids and 10+ years of marriage! Look at the pics of how I look with a beard and freshly shaved, shaving looks like it takes 30 years off my age.

Panasonic Arc 3 Before and After

BEFORE and AFTER!

Panasonic Arc 3 Men’s Wet/Dry Shaver received. This post contains affiliate links. I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

So it’s safe to say I am excited about the #ScruffyDude Challenge and the Panasonic Arc 3 Men’s Wet/Dry Shaver. So, what is a Scruffy Dude, I think you need to have some fun with your facial hair to be a Scruffy Dude, my wife thinks it includes being lazy and not shaving (she may be partially right, but I will never admit that), I think it takes a special, creative, intelligent and fun person to be a true Scruffy Dude. I believe every guy has their own ‘inner’ Scruffy Dude, and those without the scruff are jealous of us with it!

Now growing the scruff and maintaining it are 2 very different things. It’s hard work giving that beard a ‘clean’ appearance, shaving that perfect goatee, or trimming sideburns and a mustache. It takes a certain skill and tool take care of business, so I was excited to put the Arc 3 to the test.

After charging the Arc 3, I went right to work on cleaning up my newest winter scruff, a full beard. I immediately liked how the shaver moved and adjusted to stay close as it cut thanks to the pivoting head and the Multi-fit Arc Foil that follows the contours of your face and neck. The Arc 3 is a 3-Blade Cutting System that allows for a fast and smooth shave, my favorite feature of the Arc 3 is Shaving Sensor mode, or the stubble sensor that detects the beards density and adjusts the motor speed for a smooth, powerful and gentle shave. I also use the pop-up trimmer quite a bit, it is very useful for edging and trimming parts of your face to make sure your scruff looks good too!

Panasonic Arc 3 What's in the Box

I had a chance to try the Arc 3 both dry and with some shaving gel. I guess this is a manner of preference, I prefer using some shaving gel, but I was impressed that the Arc 3 did not pull, or have any discomfort with the dry shave.

Maintenance for the Arc 3 is simple, just pop it on its stand and charge it for an hour and you have 45 minutes worth of cordless shaving, which lasts for about 2 weeks.  When you are done shaving, all you need to do is pop off the head and rinse it with water, and boom, it’s as good as new!

The Arc 3 would be a great addition for any Scruffy Dude, whether the Scruffy Dude is yourself, or if you ladies are thinking of that special scruffy guy in your life, this is a winner. The Arc 3 is a powerful shaver at a great price point.

I want one for my Scruffy Dude!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
