We are officially on our way to Disney Social Media Moms 2012!
We have been counting down the days to this trip. We paid the conference fee and our experience was so unforgettable I’m excited to share it!
Our plane left at 6:30 this morning. We woke up bright and early and thrilled to start the day. I don’t know if Kora and Logan even slept, they said they were just too excited. I know exactly what they mean!
Disney Social Media Moms 2012 is going to be such a fantastic event. I can’t wait for the chance to see what Disney and their hard working special events team has in store for us. I do know that we will be enjoy a number of Family Dinners including one inside Animal Kingdom. Having attended Disney Social Media Moms 2011, I know we will be in for a treat every day we are there.
Since we are arriving one day early (the conference dates are April 26-28th) and extending our stay after, we will be staying with Global Resort Homes. There will be 9 of us staying in the home including grandparents, in-laws, and even a cousin. We decided it would be fun to turn our extended stay into a family reunion.

I’m thankful that Dave’s old college buddy is going to be house-sitting, keeping an eye on the dogs, and getting our mail. It’s wonderful being able to truly vacation and not have to worry about the mail piling up back home or scheduling people to take care of the dogs.
I’ll be sharing our experiences, thoughts, pictures, and videos in posts, tweets, and Facebook updates over the next 7 days. So be sure to stay tuned for those. It’s going to be a fantastic trip and I hope that those reading will feel like they’re traveling along with us!

First, I love your blog. This is my first visit and I am now a follower. Next, I want to be a part of Social Media Moms so I can be a part of this event in 2013, but also because it sounds like a fab group. Looking into that immediately! Vacation homes are a great way to save money on accommodations especially if you can get your family together.
Wow, we’ve been on vacations but never considered a vacation home. It sounds like a great idea after reading this. Specially with kids!
Sounds like you are going to have a blast. I wish I had my kids this month at Disney World when I went, but they had to stay at home and watch my updates on Facebook.
