Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and it can be tricky finding the perfect valentine’s gift. I remember one of my favorite ways Dave surprised me on Valentine’s Day was with arranging babysitting for the kids and making a wonderfully romantic dinner. It meant so much that he took the time to arrange everything and put so much thought into the meal and made it all himself – he wouldn’t let me help, just told me to go relax. It was delicious too! I loved every bit of it and enjoyed spending the time together.

While this was one of my favorite Valentine’s Days, Dave has also been amazing at surprising me with gifts too. After so many years together he knows me well and more often then not the gifts will include lots of chocolate – yum!!
