As your family grows, your house slowly transforms into a home and your home essentially becomes a family member. Just like your family, you begin to wonder if everything is going well, you would like to check in with it every now and then while you are away.
Swann ADS 460 Camera received.
That’s why I’m excited about the Swann ADS-460 SwannEye HD Indoor & Outdoor Wi-Fi All Weather Camera.
The list of things this camera can do is quite impressive, but first we had to get it set up. I was very impressed with the ease of installing the SwannEye HD Indoor & Outdoor Wi-Fi All Weather Camera. Our experience with this camera has been very good, there are some things to keep in mind as you set it up to get the best possible experience out of the camera.
Here are some of my favorite features of the ADS-460 SwannEye HD Camera:
1. Easy Set-Up
Thanks to the plug & play installation, setting this camera up was pretty easy. As long as you have a good wireless signal available and know how drill in a couple of screws, you can get this camera up and running.
2. Weather Resistant
We have looked at a couple of different types of cameras to monitor our home. A lot of them say they are made for the outdoors, but recommend a certain temperature range, or recommend keeping it out of the elements. With this SwannEye HD Indoor & Outdoor Wi-Fi All Weather Camera, you can put it outside with no worries. It has a covering and laughs at the elements.
3. View Remotely on Your Smartphone, Tablet, or Computer
This is amazing. I can pull up the Swann app on my phone and instantly see what my camera sees. I can also look at recorded video on my devices as well.
4. Hear What’s Going on Around the Camera
I am impressed the sound, this camera is able to pick up surrounding sound to let you not only see what your camera sees, but also hear what your camera hears.
5. Receive Instant Notifications
You can set your camera to send you emails or notifications on your smartphone if there is any movement detected. The camera will use the motion sensor and notify you when someone or something walks in its path. You can also set it up so you can automatically record and later review after the motion sensor goes off.
6. Night Vision
This is pretty impressive as long as you are viewing things within a 30 foot distance of your camera, you will have some great night vision footage.
7. 720 HD Viewing
Watch your video in amazingly HD clarity.
8. Secure Digital Transmission
Your wireless transmission is safe and secure thanks to the encryption and use of multiple passwords.
We have been very happy with the ADS-460 SwannEye D Indoor & Outdoor Wi-Fi All Weather Camera, here are a couple of things to keep in mind to see if it will work for you. If night vision is very important to you, this SwannEye camera will work great as long as you are looking within 30 feet of the camera. If you want this outside and have a large yard like we set out up, then the night vision will not work as well as it should. Same thing with the notifications, the closer to the camera the better the notifications will work. This would be a great camera for a smaller outdoor viewing area, or for indoors.
The ADS-460 SwannEye HD Indoor & Outdoor Wi-Fi All Weather Camera gives you a great bang for your buck, its suggested retail price is $179.99, but I have seen it for less than that. At this price, it is a great value option giving you the look and feel of a full security system, and the ability to grow. In addition, Swann is a leader in the security field, they have many other cameras available and one of them could be a perfect fit to help you accomplish and reach your goals.
