Speck DuraFolio iPad Mini Case Review

There are many great iPad cases out there and choosing the right one can be difficult.

Speck iPad Mini Cases

Speck DuraFolio iPad Mini Cases received.

As a tech blogger, I’ve had the chance to review a number of iPad cases and enjoy finding the best features in each and seeing how they stack up against one another. That’s why I was excited about the Speck DuraFolio iPad Mini Cases.

I attended BlogHer last year and visited the Speck booth in the Expo Hall where I was given a case for my iPhone. I loved it right away. It was light, colorful, and offered great protection for my phone. When this opportunity came in to check out what Speck had to offer for the iPad Mini, I jumped at the chance to review the cases.

What grabbed my attention right away about the Speck DuraFolio iPad Mini Case is that it offers Military Grade Drop Protection. Since Kora & Logan are the ones using the iPad Minis the most in our house I wanted to make sure they were well protected. The kids are very responsible but as we all know things happen, even for adults. These cases passed the Military Grade Standard which includes a series of hard surface drops from various angles.

Speck CaseI like that the sides are raised to protect the screen.

Speck iPad Mini Case ProtectionThis is great news and makes me feel better about letting the kids use the iPads. I also like that even though these cases offer this impressive protection it comes without added bulk. The cases are thin, streamlined, and trendy. In fact, they only add 0.3″ to the iPad Mini which is pretty impressive! They also are very lightweight which makes it easy to store the iPad Minis in a purse when you’re on the road.

Another feature I really love is the integrated magnets which wake up the Mini and put it to sleep simply by opening and closing the case. The magnets do a great job of keeping the cover firmly sealed when not in use which helps protect the screen.

Speck TexturedThe cases also offer multiple viewing angles for reading, typing, or viewing.

These cases are as fantastic as the one I had on my iPhone and they really give me peace of mind that they are protected against accidental drops.

I recommend the Speck DuraFolio iPad Mini Case to anyone looking for a new case for the iPad Mini. It offers many great protective features along with a thin, streamlined, lightweight, and trendy style.

I really like how these look. Not to mention that they are Military Grade Drop Protection! I need this for my son. He is the king of accidentally dropping anything electronic. Maybe a strong case like this would help us out. Thanks for the review!

That looks like a durable case! I love how it can stand the ipad up at a tilt!

My grandkids are the ones that use our iPad mini the most and I have been looking for a case that makes me at ease when they are using it. I love all the features of this one. Will definitely be checking them out! Thank you!

This is much nicer than the cover I currently have. Mine does have the magnet closing but no real protection.

Oh that looks like an awesome case for the mini! I’ve been wanting to get Landon a new case for his iPad 4 that’s more sturdy than what he has now. I’m going to look into Speck!
