This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Smithfield®. The opinions and text are all mine.

I love cooking meats on the grill or in the smoker, the prep work . . . not so much. This is why I am a huge fan of meats that come packaged marinated already.

One great example of this is Smithfield® Marinated Pork which is available at your neighborhood Kroger. Smithfield® has a large variety of offerings, but their Marinated Pork tenderloins are my go to. We recently cooked up a pair of Peppercorn and Garlic Pork Tenderloins.Smithfield Marinated Pork

These are a breeze to cook because all of the prep work is already done for you. I have baked them, grilled them and smoked them in the past. Since this was a weekday and we were crunched for time, we simply baked it and 27 minutes later the pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly thanks to the perfect seasoning. For this school night, we cooked up some veggies and mashed potatoes and we had a perfect and quick meal. Sadly, my pictures of this meal didn’t turn out so hot, but this gives me the opportunity to share how we handle our leftovers of Smithfield® Marinated Pork.Smithfield Marinated Pork

Pork makes for a perfect sandwich, the kids have taken these sandwiches to school, and I have had many of them for lunch. I am going to share 2 of our favorites and another that I found online and will try next.

Leftover Pork & Apple SandwichSmithfield Marinated Pork

Slice your pork thin and slice an apple really thin, we prefer gala or the honey-crisp apples. Take your bread, roll or bagel add some honey Dijon mustard, add the pork, a couple of apple slices and cheese and you have a perfect sandwich to take to work or school, and you will be the envy of your co-workers. This is a simple and quick way to give your leftovers new life, and you will love it.

Leftover BBQ PorkSmithfield Marinated Pork

Slice your pork thin, add it to your bread and top with some BBQ sauce, if you like a lot of sauce just bring the bottle with you, this will save you quite a mess! I like to add a slice of onion and/or a slice of cheese as well.

These 2 leftover recipes are super easy and simple. You will feel like you ordered out for lunch, when really it was just a quality leftover lunch thanks to Smithfield® Marinated Pork.

With 2 kids, our weekdays and weeknights are pretty hectic, we don’t always have a lot of time to prepare dinner, so Smithfield® offers many quick and tasty options to help make your life just a little bit easier.

I have one last recipe to share, it is perfect for leftovers, The Porkinator looks so good, it really should be a main course! Here is the pic, get to the Smithfield® site to see how to make it yourself.Smithfield Porkinator

What will you do with time you save while making a delicious Smithfield® Marinated Pork dinner?

    Mmmm. Now I’m hungry

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
