Our Sanibel Dolphin Cruise: So Many Dolphins!

If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram you know that we just got back from a week long stay with my in-laws in Florida. It was a wonderful trip and the weather was beautiful. One of our favorite memories from the trip was our Sanibel dolphin cruise. We loaded up on a modified power boat and went off cruising for dolphins.

Sanibel Dolphin Cruise Power BoatIt wasn’t long before we found plenty. They loved playing in the wake as well as jumping, twisting, turning, and skimming over the top of the water.

We got some great pictures. Here’s one.

Sanibel Dolphin Cruise

Isn’t that amazing? It felt like we could reach out and touch them. And they looked like they were having so much fun!

I can’t wait to check out the rest of our photos on our cameras and phones and I’ll be sure to share the best later.

What I’m excited to share in this post is our videos. I’ve been playing with the various camera features on my phone as well as some apps and was able to capture the dolphins jumping in regular speed, slow motion, and in fast forward.

Check out the videos here:

Aren’t the dolphins just incredible? We took tons of pictures and videos from this dolphin cruise, I’m itching to go through them all!

If you are in the area or traveling to Sanibel, I highly recommend this cruise. It was fantastic and we have memories, photos, and videos that will last a lifetime!

How amazing this trip must have been, the one thing that is on my bucket list is to swim with the dolphins. I think they are amazing and so smart. This is something that I would love to take my grandchildren to see. Just amazing!

Oh my gosh amazing! My kids would LOVE this!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
